  • Publication number: 20090185959
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a distributed networked ozonation system for ozonation of storage rooms containing fresh or perishable products, and also may be useful in other applications involving multiple ozonated zones. An exemplary embodiment uses a set of distributed ozone generators connected to a communication network. An exemplary ozone generator comprises an ozone sensor, an ozone-generating cell, and a controller, and also may comprise an air cooling unit with an ozone destruct air filter, so that the generator may be placed within an ozonated environment. The ozone level of the storage area may be under closed-loop feedback control. The controller may communicate with other controllers at the same site and with a site controller, which in turn may communicate with a remote controller.

  • Patent number: 5613404
Abstract: A tiltable steering system for an off-highway implement including a steering column having a steering wheel connected toward an upper end thereof. A tilting mechanism for the steering column defines a generally horizontal pivot about which the steering column moves. The tilting mechanism further includes a gas spring mechanism connected to the steering column for allowing the steering column to pivotally move through a relatively wide range of positions and thereafter be locked in a selected tilted position. A second tilting mechanism is provided between the steering column and the steering wheel for allowing the steering wheel to be adjusted and secured in a tilted position independently of the selected tilted position of the steering column. To further promote ergonomic positioning of the steering wheel, the steering column of the present invention is elevationally adjustable as through telescoping casings which define the steering column.

  • Patent number: 4966044
Abstract: A single lever directional control system for positively conditioning a tractor transmission for either a forward or reverse mode of operation. The control system includes a controller for engaging the transmission in either of two modes of operation as a function of the electrical signals directed to the controller, an electrical switch for directing electrical signals to the controller as a function of the operative state of the switch, and an over-center control lever for controlling the operative state of the switch. The over-centering of the control lever positively positions the lever in either of two positions corresponding to the two modes of operation of the transmission. Precise shifting of the transmission is facilitated by configuring the control lever for movement in two distinct directions of movement to shift the transmission.
