  • Patent number: 7040491
Abstract: A cable management system has a chassis, a communications interface and an access panel assembly. The cable management system a chassis which is configured to hold a set of circuit boards. The communications interface is disposed adjacent a side of the chassis. The access panel assembly is coupled to the side of the chassis and is disposed adjacent the communications interface. The access panel assembly includes (i) a frame portion which defines a frame opening, (ii) a set of bushings coupled to the frame portion, the set of bushings defining a set of cable ports and an access port within the frame opening defined by the frame portion, and (iii) a cover portion which is configured to substantially cover the access port defined by the set of bushings.

  • Patent number: 7022916
Abstract: An electronic cabinet has an electronic cabinet frame, and a chassis which slidably mounts to the electronic cabinet frame. The chassis is configured to house electronic equipment. The electronic cabinet further has a cable guide which is configured to guide movement of a set of cables which connects to the electronic equipment. The cable guide includes an arm member that defines a set of support portions and a set of hinges. The set of support portions and the set of hinges are integrated together to form a contiguous, unitary body which is configured to support the set of cables. The cable guide further includes a first attachment subsystem to attach the arm member to the electronic cabinet frame, and a second attachment subsystem to attach the arm member to the chassis.

  • Patent number: 6762362
Abstract: An electronic system has a power supply, multiple backplanes, and a bus bar assembly electrically interconnected between the power supply and the multiple backplanes. The bus bar assembly includes a power supply member that couples to a power supply and a backplane member that couples simultaneously to multiple backplanes. The backplane member defines multiple rows of holes. Each row of holes includes at least two holes. The bus bar assembly further includes a set of fasteners that fasten the power supply member to the backplane member in order to provide a conductive path between the power supply and the multiple backplanes. The multiple rows of holes defined by the backplane member enable the backplane member to fasten to power supply members having different designs for flexibility.

  • Patent number: 5573317
Abstract: A bracket for a cabinet, such as the type used for television sets or other electronic devices, wherein the cabinet includes a first flange having a predetermined flange thickness. The bracket includes a housing having top and bottom ribs and a mounting flange having an aperture. The top and bottom ribs are spaced apart from the mounting flange by a predetermined distance which is less than the flange thickness. As such, upon insertion of the first flange between the top and bottom ribs and the mounting flange, a press fit is formed. This removably secures the top and bottom ribs and the mounting flange to the first flange without the use of fasteners. In addition, the housing includes at least one clip element for removably securing a printed circuit board having a switch which is accessible through the aperture.
