  • Patent number: 11140457
Abstract: Devices and methods are provided for determining and establishing network path for a streaming video device. The device may receive video from a remote digital video recorder (DVR) through a first access point (AP) wirelessly connected to second AP of the remote DVR, wherein the streaming video device, the first AP, and the remote DVR share a network, wherein the remote DVR includes a third AP. The device may determine a first connection quality associated with a first frequency band between the streaming video device and the first AP. The device may determine a second connection quality associated with a second frequency band between the streaming video device and the second AP. The device may determine that the second connection quality exceeds the first connection quality. The device may establish a direct connection between the streaming video device and the second AP using second frequency band. The device may receive DVR video over the second frequency band.

  • Patent number: 9659052
Abstract: A system and method to recognize and resolve when a source data object is the same or similar to an existing data object in a database using structured information and facts about each object. The system and method compare relations of the source data object and relations of the existing data object in the database and determine how similar the source data object is to the data object in the database based on scores of the comparisons. The system and method may provide outputs, such as whether the data objects match, the data objects are distinct, the source data object is a strong match to multiple data objects in the database, and the data objects conflict one another. The system and method may then resolve the database entries based on the potential matching outputs.

  • Publication number: 20150005772
Abstract: A device for marking bone such as a patella is anchored to one surface of the bone, whereby the contact with the surface defines the desired resection plane, and then a cautery or other marking device is used to mark the bone relative to this plane. The marking device is removed and then the bone may be resected using techniques known in the art. A device for measuring the remaining bone allows a user to measure bone thickness and visually estimate superoinferior angle or mediolateral angle of the resected surface relative to the desired resection plane. The measuring device may optionally be used with a computer-assisted surgical system for numerical measurements.
