Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for locating subscriber information are provided. When a trigger event occurs within a communication network (e.g., a network outage where a provisioning component is unable to provision a subscriber with a subscriber location service), the subscriber location service is transitioned from a first mode of operation to a second mode of operation. While in the second mode of operation, the subscriber location service responds to requests from a network repository service with an indicator when a subscriber cannot be found. The indicator triggers the network repository service to select and recommend one or more data stores of subscriber information for a network function to attempt for accessing the subscriber information. The network repository service may provide retry instructions to the network function for retrying the attempts to access the subscriber information one or more times.

A communication session establishment request for a user equipment of a subscriber to utilize a communication network may be received. Subscriber location information, session management subscription data, and policy data associated with the subscriber may be retrieved. A subscriber not found response may be received from a charging component as a response to a charging subscriber request for the charging component to track network and service utilization by the user equipment due to a prior failure to register the subscriber with the charging component.

Abstract: A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a network access management service is provided. The service may include modifying subscription data pertaining to an end device. The modification may include control data directed to remediating behavior of the end device. The service may provide the control data to the end device during a registration procedure or a deregistration procedure with the end device. The end device may execute a remedial procedure based on the control data. The service may prevent the registering of the end device to the core network. The service may deregister the end device from the core network when the end device may be registered.

Abstract: A device may comprise a processor. The processor may be configured to: receive a request for context for a User Equipment device (UE) from a Fourth Generation (4G) core network component; retrieve Fifth Generation (5G) data; and send, to the 4G core network component, a reply comprising the 5G data and an indication whether the 4G core network component is to use the 5G data to instruct the UE.

A communication session establishment request for a user equipment of a subscriber to utilize a communication network may be received. Subscriber location information, session management subscription data, and policy data associated with the subscriber may be retrieved. A subscriber not found response may be received from a charging component as a response to a charging subscriber request for the charging component to track network and service utilization by the user equipment due to a prior failure to register the subscriber with the charging component. Accordingly, an automated self-healing action may be performed to re-provision the subscriber with the charging component for registering the subscriber for network and service utilization tracking by the charging component.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to enable operators to dynamically reject user equipment (UE) registrations for 5G networks based on certain policy criteria. A network device in a core network receives a registration request for a UE device, retrieves access and mobility subscription data for the UE device, and submits a policy association request message to an Access Management-Policy Control Function (AM-PCF). The policy association request message includes the access and mobility subscription data. The network device receives a policy association response message from the AM-PCF, determines whether the policy association response message includes an error code for a failed access management policy association, and rejects the registration request when the policy association response message includes the error code.

Abstract: A network device may receive a request for authentication data, for a UE attempting to register with a network, and an indication that a SUCI utilized by the UE is unencrypted, and may request, from a data store, the authentication data for the UE. The network device may provide, to the data store, a notification instructing the data store to push a UE parameters update (UPU) once a registration process is complete for the UE, and may receive the authentication data from the data store. The network device may complete the registration process for the UE based on the authentication data, and may receive the UPU from the data store based on the registration process being completed. The network device may cause the UE to detach from the network after utilizing the UPU, and may cause the UE to reconnect to the network with an encrypted SUCI.

Abstract: A system described herein may output a first access policy request associated with a User Equipment (“UE”). The system may receive a first access policy in response to the first access policy request, and may identify, after receiving the first access policy, that the first access policy has expired. The system may output, based on identifying that the first access policy has expired, a second access policy request associated with the UE, may receive a second access policy in response to the second access policy request, and may output the second access policy to at least one of the UE, or a radio access network (“RAN”) to which the UE is connected. The RAN may provide access to the UE in accordance with the first access policy until receiving the second access policy, after which the RAN may provide access to the UE in accordance with the second access policy.

Abstract: In some implementations, a session management function (SMF) may receive, from an access and mobility management function (AMF), an SMF protocol data unit (PDU) session message that indicates a plurality of data network names (DNNs) capable of being handled by the SMF for a subscription permanent identifier (SUPI. The SMF may transmit, to a unified data management (UDM) or a unified data repository (UDR), a subscriber profile retrieval message for requesting session management subscription data for the plurality of DNNs. The SMF may receive, from the UDM or the UDR, an acknowledgement message that indicates the session management subscription data for the plurality of DNNs. The SMF may store the session management subscription data for the plurality of DNNs.

Abstract: In some implementations, a first network function device may transmit a request for discovery of a unified data management (UDM) device included in the core network. The first network function device may receive, based on the request, an indication of a UDM group identifier associated with the UDM device and a user data repository (UDR) group identifier associated with a UDR device that is associated with the UDM device. A charging function (CHF) device receives transaction records of network consumption by user equipment (UE) devices in a wireless network and generates individual event messages based on each of the transaction records. Each of the individual event messages includes a detailed record based on one of the transaction records. The CHF device associates each of the individual event messages with a message bus topic, formats each of the individual event messages for publication on the message bus, and publishes each of the formatted individual event messages to the message bus. The message bus is accessible to external systems that generate dynamic network consumption data sets based on the formatted individual event messages.

The data quota indicates a first amount of data associated with the rating group that the subscriber is authorized to use during a time period and the one or more usage monitoring thresholds indicate one or more second amounts of data associated with the rating group and one or more service flows that the subscriber is authorized to use during the time period. The network device transmits the data quota and the one or more usage monitoring thresholds, receives data usage information, and processes the data usage information.
