  • Publication number: 20070193370
Abstract: A liquid dispenser comprises a sprayer device and volume meter connected together to form an integral unit that prevents the sprayer device and volume meter from being disconnected without damaging the dispenser. The volume meter has an inlet end portion and a gauge member downstream of the inlet end portion that responds to liquid flowing through the dispenser to provide a visual readout indicating the volume of liquid flowing through the dispenser. A common passageway extends through the sprayer device and volume meter through which liquid flows from the inlet end portion of the volume meter, past the gauge member, and exits the sprayer device at a head end thereof.

  • Patent number: 5131052
Abstract: A loudspeaker assembly includes a vibrating element which generates pressure waves in a first predetermined frequency range which propagate in a first forward direction and a second backward direction. A driver drives the vibrating element. A first diffuser uniformly diffuses the forward waves. A tuner selects back waves in a second predetermined frequency range within said first predetermined frequency range. The tuner includes a second diffuser for diffusing the back waves within said second frequency range such that the selected back waves and the front waves are in phase.

  • Patent number: 5129006
Abstract: An electronic audio signal amplifier and loudspeaker system comprises a preamplifier circuit, a plurality of L electronic crossover networks, a plurality of M output amplifiers and an associated plurality of M loudspeaker assemblies. The electronic crossover networks conjugate an input signal into at least low, mid and high frequency bands which do not overlap for broadcast form at least three loudspeaker assemblies particularly designed for such broadcast and for alleviation of intermodulation distortion. The system delivers an omnidirectional sound at equivalent acoustic energy to listeners over the entire audible spectrum with limited intermodulation distortion. A center channel loudspeaker assembly of the system comprises first and second ported chambers, the second chamber being filled with a sound-absorbent material to attenuate acoustic energy at certain frequencies broadcast from a woofer of the assembly.
