    Abstract: A clasp or connector for detachably fastening to each other the two ends of jewelry chains, necklaces, bracelets or the like. The clasp includes an elongated planar base-plate having a loop-receiving or link-receiving hole or loop at one end thereof, to which the terminal link of the chain, necklace or bracelet may be secured, and having a short link-receiving post at the other end thereof over which the other terminal link of the chain, necklace or bracelet may be placed when the clasp is in its open condition.
