  • Patent number: 11900723
Abstract: A system that detects whether a user interacting with a featured activity is wearing glasses is described. The system verifies that the user is wearing the glasses and the system prompts the user and a caregiver and may blur, stop or otherwise interrupt a user experience of a featured activity, such as a video game or film, when the system determined that the user is not wearing the glasses. A glasses module may be positioned at frame of the glasses at a head of the user to detect that the user is wearing the glasses. Optical facial processing may detect a face and glasses on the face. Also disclosed is a hearing aid that may be integrated with such a system. A glasses module that aids in depth perception by reporting distance ahead, and a system that trains eye contact with another person wearing glasses are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230086558
Abstract: An acquisition imaging system is described herein that acquires multiple images from multiple imagers where each are sent to a single processor/controller, resulting in a single, resultant image providing a detailed field of view. The system is comprised of multiple sets of images taken by multiple sensors, strategically placed to acquire multiple perspectives of an image field. Each sensor is packaged with digitization, compression and communication components in an imager to allow for the transfer of the image to a processor/controller system controller. PanOpts supports multiple processors and controllers configurations as well. The system’s controller acts as the network interface, power supply and centralized management for processing information, specifically the analytics.

  • Publication number: 20120178064
Abstract: A system, method and related devices for monitoring and improving the training and social eye contact and communication skills of developmentally challenged individuals such as autistic individuals. One component of the system allows the defining of a students/patients long-term behavior or academic or social goal treatment in a hierarchical relationship of skills in treatment plans. It captures behavioral events within a ‘behavioral stream’ and stores the ‘behavioral stream’ in a centralized database that can be accessed centrally, including with the Internet. Procedures and materials used during the treatment are identified and data is stored in a central depository and can be displayed in a therapist's handheld device. Another component provides stimuli that promotes and encourages improvements in the eye contact habits of the subject.

  • Patent number: 7467044
Abstract: A method and system for integrating multiple analytical processes for evaluating risk and uncertainty elements of a petroleum system. The integrated environment provides a consistent means of analysis for evaluating multiple petroleum systems including exploration prospects and reservoirs, wherein multiple evaluation tools can be used and each of the tools has a similar “look” and “feel” so that a user can efficiently utilize all of the tools in the integrated environment. The evaluation tools analyze common data sets within the integrated environment so that a consistent evaluation of a petroleum system can be performed.

  • Publication number: 20070271339
Abstract: A computer system includes hardware for interfacing with the public telephone network and for accepting incoming telephone calls. The computer system detects from the incoming telephone calls automatic number identification data (ANI data), such as Caller-ID data, which identifies the calling telephone and further accepts personal identification codes from the caller. The system also uses a ‘fuzzy logic algorithm’ to indicate the probability that the proper employee, related professional or other related individuals are calling from the assigned location. The system also uses an authorization and control mechanism to from the originating source to either accept or reject the service claim. The system generates reports of the incoming telephone calls in which reports the location of the calling telephone is correlated with the person who is making the telephone call, and with pre-authorization data that can include such data in reports and/or approve or deny the service itself at the point of service.

  • Patent number: 6075560
Abstract: A surveillance system which can store and replay information which is not generated contemporaneously. In some point-of-sale systems, the behavioral events occur before the transaction data is generated. The present system asynchronously records the video signals corresponding to the behavioral events and the transaction data. Upon playback, the transaction data is matched up with the behavioral event being replayed from the video tape.
