Abstract: An eyedrop bottle attachment has a pair of flexible arms which, in use, extend upwardly therefrom. The arms are squeezed together somewhat, and pads on the ends of the arms are pressed gently against the closed eyelids so that when released, the arms flex back to force the eyelids apart. Thereafter, the pads hold the eye open and provide a steady support for the bottle to insure accurate placement of the drops.

Abstract: A shielded letter opener comprising a finger having a relatively pointed distal end to be inserted under the flap of a sealed envelope and carrying a cutting blade extending upwardly therefrom and facing forwardly. An elongated hood with depending sides extends above and embraces the blade and the finger to protect the user.

Abstract: A vented top for a bacteria culture medium tube having a body with through openings to hold one or more tubes simultaneously. A cap closes off all openings or opens them together. Vent means enable automatic venting of gases generated by the bacteria.
