  • Publication number: 20040112548
Abstract: An assembly is provided to shade an arched window. The assembly includes a shade portion preferably in the form of a pleated shade extending between a first end and a second end. The ends of the shade are positioned so that the shade portion takes on a fanned configuration of semi-circular form similar to that of the arched window. A retainer is provided as a support to hold the shade in a vertical orientation adjacent the window. The retainer includes a guide in the form of at least one panel extending up from a horizontal base resting upon a sill below the window. The panel buttresses the shade to keep the shade in the vertical orientation shading the arched window.

  • Publication number: 20040007333
Abstract: A height adjustment control is provided for a retractable window shade. The window shade includes a top beam and a bottom beam with the bottom beam suspended below the top beam by at least one cord. The bottom beam can be adjusted and positioned relative to the top beam by adjustment of a length of cord extending between the top beam and the bottom beam. The height adjustment control system of this invention acts on the portions of the cord which are not suspended between the top beam and the bottom beam. A retainer is provided to gather up portions of the cord which are not in use. A retractor exerts a force on the retainer to cause the retainer to automatically gather up this excess cord. A cord brake is provided to hold the cord from passing onto the retainer and hold the bottom beam at a desired position below the top beam.

  • Publication number: 20030128975
Abstract: A turntable is provided for use in the creation of both three dimensional panorama images and three dimensional object images. The turntable includes a base including an upper element and a lower element which rotate relative to each other. A slider block and camera mounting bracket provide a preferred form of a camera attachment fastener so that a camera can be removably but securely fastened to the upper element of the turntable. The camera can then be rotated between sequential pictures so that a panorama image can be created. The camera attachment fastener accommodates adjustment of a position of the camera relative to the upper element of the turntable for optimal positioning of the camera. In a second object mode, an object supporting surface, preferably in the form of a stage, is placed upon the upper element.
