    Abstract: A cable removal device comprises a body comprising a head portion and a rear portion, the rear portion adapted as a handle portion, the head portion comprising a bent portion extending from a front end of the head portion, the bent portion further containing tabs surrounding a gap that extends inward from the front end, the gap adapted to allow the bent portion to extend over a latch release tab of a cable connector device while the latch release tab is maintained in a latched position, without contact therewith until a subsequent movement of the body causes the body to contact the latch release tab and thereby move the latch release tab into a released position that disengages the cable connector device from a commodity connector device.
