    Abstract: Described herein are flexible marking systems possessing one or more painted images. The systems comprise a carrier layer adjacent to the adhesive layer, where the carrier layer is capable of receiving paint to produce painted images. The systems described herein are durable with respect to retaining the painted image. The systems are also durable with respect to remaining on the substrate once applied to the substrate. The systems do not require the use of heat and other expensive equipment for applying the system to the substrate.
