  • Patent number: 11725421
Abstract: An attack, ballistic and blast resistant door that includes integral concealed mortised four bolt-strike locking assemblies where the bolts are retracted with one hand operation for opening the door and are automatically extended for locking the door with closure of the door. The door has a door frame with four adjustable concealed striker receivers within the door frame. The door has four interconnected concealed mortised bolt lock assemblies, each with a biased bolt, wherein one of the bolt lock assemblies has an engageable brake to hold all four interconnected biased bolts in retraction when the door is opened after a handle interconnected with the four biased blots is moved to a door open position. A roller assembly is provided in the one bolt lock assembly biased to extend and move out from the door when the door is opened and releases the brake and allows the biased bolts to extend and move into the strike receivers when the extended roller assembly is moved inwardly toward the door.

  • Patent number: 10493832
Abstract: The vehicle body protection device is configured for use with the door of a vehicle. The door is further defined with a window. The vehicle body protection device forms a barrier on the exterior surface of the door. The vehicle body protection device hangs from the window. The vehicle body protection device is a composite textile that absorbs and deflects the energy from impacts that would otherwise damage the door of the vehicle. The vehicle body protection device comprises a cover, a core, a fastener, a plurality of adhesive layers, and a plurality of magnets. The plurality of magnets attach to the core. The plurality of adhesive layers attach the cover to the core. The fastener attaches the cover to the window of the door.

  • Publication number: 20070197754
Abstract: Novel compositions consisting of semi-interpenetrating network of cross-linked water soluble derivatives of basic polysaccharides and a non-cross-linked component, which is an anionic polysaccharide are provided. Methods for the production of such compositions are also disclosed. Preferably the basic polysaccharide is chitosan or a derivative thereof and the anionic polysaccharide is hyaluronic acid. The compositions can be formed into gels or films, for example, and thus find use in a wide range of medical applications in the fields of dermatology, plastic surgery, urology and orthopaedics.

  • Publication number: 20060242225
Abstract: In select embodiments of the present invention, a configuration incorporates a suite of agents in a “flat” hardware architecture and superimposes thereon a self-forming, self-healing, hierarchical architecture implemented in software. Embodiments may be employed in various applications, such as maintaining network integrity. In one embodiment, a building security monitoring network provides for network agents to each be capable of communication with any other agents on a network at network startup. Shortly after network initialization, the software architecture is superimposed on (rides on) the flat hardware architecture, re-arranging communication links to provide an efficient hierarchy of control and substituting working agents for compromised agents as necessary in the network. All of this is done in a “live” network, not requiring shutdown, or even reduced operation to accomplish.

  • Publication number: 20050250548
Abstract: An image browser program for use on a mobile phone, which, when executed on the mobile phone, performs a method including receiving a list of albums containing a plurality of images from a server system. The album list is determined by the server system to be comprised of albums accessible by a user. The album list is displayed on a display of the mobile phone so that the user can select an album from the album list.
