  • Publication number: 20070246294
Abstract: A noise control apparatus for a motorcycle exhaust system. The apparatus includes at least one exhaust pipe assembly having a direct pass-through mode and an indirect mode wherein exhaust gases are optionally directed through noise attenuating means. The apparatus includes at least one valve for controlling exhaust gas flow, a motor, a switch controlling said motor, a wire carrier, a wire connected between the carrier and the valve(s), and a rotary threaded drive shaft driven by the motor for moving the positioner. • Patent number: 6974175
Abstract: A readily removable accessory for a motorcycle or the like. The accessory is preferably a windshield and includes a pair of brackets. There is a vertical slot and a horizontal slot, defined by a pair of edges substantially parallel to each other. One of the edges has a slight projection extending toward the other, and there are two pairs of docking points. Each pair of docking points comprises a pair of flanged wheels with one flexible annular intermediate section. One wheel is insertable into one of the slots, and when the bracket is urged so as to place the other one of the wheels in its slots, the wheel undergoes a slight radial deflection after which it is strongly retained in the other slot.
