Abstract: Filter systems with filter bag assemblies including filter bags with gaskets configured to form radial seals, as well as corresponding methods of assembling and using the same, are described herein. The filter systems, filter bag assemblies, and filter bags with gaskets may be used in filter systems to remove particulate matter from air or other gases. Methods of using the filter systems and methods of assembling the filter bags on filter service cages in the filter bag assemblies are also described.

Abstract: A filter element for insertion into a housing of a filter system. The filter element includes a filter medium pack and a seal receiver. The filter medium pack has an outer circumferential face extending between a first outer axial face and a second outer axial face, opposite the first outer axial face. The filter element further includes a seal receiver sealingly attached to the filter medium pack. The seal receiver includes a closed-loop surface suitable for receiving a removable circumferential seal member, and wherein the closed-loop surface forms a contour shape with single-fold rotational symmetry. A seal assembly including a filter element and a seal carrier is also presented.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a filter element comprising a filter medium pack and a support arrangement comprising at least a shell member, and wherein a portion of the shell member is thermally welded to a circumferential face of the filter medium pack. The present disclosure further relates to a method of manufacturing such a filter element, the method comprising heating at least a portion of the shell member of the support arrangement, positioning the shell member around the circumferential face of the filter medium pack, pushing the heated circumferential portion of the shell member against the circumferential face of the filter medium pack, and allowing the circumferential portion of the shell member to cool down.

Abstract: A filter cartridge for an air cleaner assembly is disclosed. The filter cartridge can include a media pack configured for installation into an air cleaner housing, the media pack extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite inlet and outlet flow ends, the media pack defining an outer perimeter. The filter cartridge can also include a circumferential shell surrounding at least a portion of the media pack outer perimeter. A radial flange extending from the circumferential shell proximate the media pack inlet end can also be provided. The flange can define a plurality of openings that are configured to receive protrusions on a housing body of the air cleaner assembly. The interaction between the protrusions and openings operates to ensure a secure seal between the housing body and the seal member.
