Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for supporting dynamic reuse of business case components in business case development are described herein. The method involves receiving a sample criterion for creating a new business case. A database of business cases is accessed where the criteria associated with the business cases are hierarchically structured according to a common data model. The method further includes comparing the sample criterion with the criteria associated with the business cases to identify one or more business cases that have a criterion matching the sample criterion. The method further includes scoring one or more criteria rendered alongside the matching criterion in the hierarchical structure, based on a position of the one or more criteria relative to a position of the matching criterion. Based on the scoring, one or more criteria having relatively higher scores are identified as additional criteria for the new business case.
