Abstract: A telecommunications enclosure (10) includes a frame (12) defining a plurality of planes including a front plane (30), a rear plane (32), a right side plane (34), a left side plane (36), a top plane (38), and a bottom plane (40). First and second termination panels (16a, 16b) are mounted to the frame. The first and second termination panels (16a, 16b) are accessible from the front plane (30) of the frame (12), and the first and second termination panels (16a, 16b) each include a plurality of cable termination locations (21). At least one splice area (18) inside the frame (12) is accessible from the right side plane (34) or the left side plane (36). The at least one splice area (18) receives fiber optic cables for splicing to additional cables inside the frame.

Abstract: A telecommunications equipment cabinet including an equipment zone, and a cable storage zone including a plurality of panels and radius limiters for guiding a technician for proper cable routing. A splitter zone for managing fiber optic splitters used in connection with the equipment positioned in the equipment zone. Cables extending to and from the splitters can be managed by the cable storage zone. The cabinet can include two equipment zones spaced apart by the cable storage zone. One of the equipment zones can also be combined with a splitter zone for holding fiber optic splitters, or the equipment zone can be used with patch cables.

Abstract: A casing for containing apparatus which in use generates heat, the casing including a heat exchanger arranged to act as a removable wall (preferably a lid) of the casing, and fluid directing means arranged to be on the exterior of the said removable wall for directing a heat transfer fluid in thermal contact with the said wall in use, such that heat generated in the interior of the casing is transferred to the heat transfer fluid by conduction through the material of the said wall.

Abstract: Articles and methods are provided for enclosing an elongate substrate. A container is provided which is configured to receive the elongate substrate. A first polymeric sealing material having a first softening point and a first melt viscosity is positioned in the container. A second polymeric sealing material is positioned in the container between the first sealing material and an end of the container. The second sealing material has a second softening point lower than the first softening point and a second melt viscosity lower at a defined temperature than the fist melt viscosity.
