Abstract: A system attachable to a fluid supply and an ostomy pouch adapter wafer for washing an ostomy pouch releasably attachable to the ostomy pouch adapter wafer. The system includes a fluid delivery portion with a first end and a second end, the first end being attachable to the fluid supply. The system further includes a sealing plate having a support face and a fluid transport, the support face having an attachment surface for sealably receiving the ostomy pouch adapter wafer in releasable engagement. The fluid transport includes a fluid inlet attachable to the second end of the fluid delivery portion in a fluid-tight manner, a fluid outlet extending from the support face of the sealing plate to direct fluid into the ostomy pouch, and a one-way valve that permits outflow from the fluid outlet and prevents fluid outflow through the fluid inlet.
