Abstract: A hand held apparatus used for coating and tenderizing food products particularly meat, poultry, and fish. The apparatus is comprised of a foodstuff container attached to a convex shaped plate with a plurality of protruding convex shaped protrusions attached to the head of the convex shaped plate head. In addition, the convex shaped protrusions optionally contain a variable number of smaller protrusions whereby increasing the adhesion of foodstuff coating onto the surface of food products. The foodstuff container can be made to attach, detachable or permanently affixed, onto the back of the convex shaped plate whereby additional leverage and maneuverability for applying pressure is achieved as well as the convenience of a container of foodstuff is constantly in hand. In addition, the foodstuff container brim can be attached to a container lid lip thereby acting as a lid for a separate foodstuff container.
