  • Publication number: 20230222736
Abstract: A method and system for generating three-dimensional (3D) model augmented related objects from a scene are provided. The method includes creating one or more 3D objects and placing the 3D objects into the 3D scene. Embodiments herein disclose methods and systems for generating 3D augmented reality (AR) objects from a scene. The method may capture an object from the scene, perform a coarse semantic segmentation on the identified object, derive connected contour, generate intermediate contour from at least one outer and inner contours, and configure three-dimensional mesh and texture mapping to generate a three-dimensional model of the captured object.

  • Patent number: 10715725
Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for handling 360 degree image content captured by a 360 degree camera. A method includes obtaining, by an electronic device, a sequence of 360 degree projection format image frames associated with the 360 degree image content and inertial measurement unit (IMU) rotation data associated with the 360 degree image content, computing, by the electronic device, a relative rotation of the 360 degree image content, and applying, by the electronic device, the relative rotation to at least one of the 360 degree projection format image frames to stabilize the 360 degree image content.

  • Patent number: 9715638
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate the review of at least portions of a panoramic image and to increase the likelihood that a viewer consumes at least those portions of the panoramic image that are considered to be both interesting and of aesthetic value. In the context of a method, one or more regions within a panoramic image are identified based upon a saliency of the one or more regions. The method also includes identifying candidate subimages that at least partially overlap with at least one of the regions identified within the panoramic image. The method further includes scoring the candidate subimages based upon predefined criteria and causing information for one or more of the candidate subimages to be provided based upon scores associated therewith.

  • Publication number: 20170195560
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to generate a panoramic view in a computationally efficient manner. In regards to a method, images captured by at least three cameras are received. Each camera has a different, but partially overlapping field of view. The method generates first and second panoramic views. The first and second panoramic views include a first region generated such that pixels are based upon an image captured by one camera. The first and second panoramic views also include a second region that at least partially corresponds with the mutually overlapping portion of the fields of view. The generation of the second region is based upon a combination of images captured by at least two of the cameras and includes combining the images captured by at least two of the cameras utilizing depth information associated with an image captured by at least one of the cameras.

  • Patent number: 7751334
Abstract: Networks carry various kinds of traffic and ISPs are keen to analyze the traffic so as to be able to support QoS on the distinct traffic flows. Traffic can be broadly categorized into two types: plain traffic and encrypted traffic. Further, each of these traffic types is based on either a standard protocol or a proprietary protocol. While it is fairly straightforward to analyze traffic that are based on standard protocols, it is extremely difficult to analyze encrypted traffic based on proprietary protocols. A system for Skype traffic detection involves analyzing encrypted traffic based on proprietary peer to peer protocol. The proposed approach is based on building Skype traffic models and using the same to determine Skype traffic in the network traffic.
