Abstract: A flexible and precise fixture for micromachining includes a base and a support shaft extending vertically from the base. The support shaft includes a proximal end attached to the base and an enlarged distal end inserted inside a cavity of a clamp support block. One or more clamp jaws are provided on a top surface of the clamp support block. One or more angular pointers are included having a proximal end mounted pivotally on the base and a distal end pivotally mounted to the clamp support block, each pointer mounted to an individual side wall of the clamp support block. A washer and nut are mounted on the support shaft, the washer positioned between the nut and the clamp support block. The nut is threadedly mounted on the support shaft and may be tightened or loosened to place the clamp support block into a respective fixed or released position.

Abstract: A method for desalinating a saline or a brackish water includes filling an inner portion of a basin with the saline or the brackish water to saturate a second sponge. Adjusting a rear reflective mirror to reflect an incident solar radiation onto a serpentine pipe. Adjusting a top double sided reflective mirror to reflect the incident solar radiation through a front surface of a glass cover and onto a water tank. Adjusting a front reflective mirror, a right reflective mirror, and a left reflective mirror to reflect the incident solar radiation through the glass cover. A temperature rise inside the basin causes the saline or the brackish water to become heated and vaporized into water vapor. Condensing the water vapor to form distilled water droplets which are collected in a plurality of troughs as distilled water. Flowing the distilled water from the plurality of troughs to a storage tank.

Abstract: A fog and rain collector includes a number of mesh panels and a mesh roof panel for collection of fog and rain. The mesh panels used for fog collection may be concave-shaped for greater surface area and increased fog collection. The upper edges of the mesh panels may be arranged in a polygon shape allowing for the collection of fog from all directions. The mesh panels may be mounted on support posts and a trough may be mounted beneath the mesh panels for collection of rain and fog condensate. A dustproof drain is mounted on the trough and connected to a first piping section which moves the water from the trough to a filter and then through a second piping section to a water container for storage. Support posts may used for mounting the mesh panels as well as mounting plates fasted to a surface by screws.
