  • Publication number: 20250250204
Abstract: Integrally waterproof fiber cement composite materials including interior and exterior fiber cement articles for building structures are disclosed. Fiber cement formulations include small percentages of silica fume and silanol. Formulations may additionally include a cementitious binder, silica, and a density modifier such as calcium silicate or perlite. Advantageously, the addition of preselected small percentages of silica fume and silanol has been discovered to yield waterproofness at substantially lower concentrations of silica fume and silanol than would be required to yield waterproofness when using either silica fume or silanol alone.

  • Patent number: 12368576
Abstract: A first electronic device can establish a communication channel with a second electronic device and receive a second signed log head of an identifier log via the communication channel. The identifier log is managed by a key transparency server and can include public keys of users registered with the server and user identifiers. The second signed log head includes a hash of the public keys and the user identifiers in the identifier log. The second signed log head can be provided to the second device by the server. In response to sending a request for a consistency-checked log head from the server, the device can receive at least one consistency-checked signed log head. The device can verify a consistency between the second signed log head and the at least one consistency-checked log head. If verified the device can maintain use of the server for verifying ownership of the keys.

  • Patent number: 12353488
Abstract: An apparatus includes an interface and a processor. The interface sends and receives data over a network. The processor uses the interface to transmit a first series of profiles to a first user. The first series of profiles corresponds to recommendations of users for a second user. The processor also uses the interface to receive a selection from the first user of a first profile of the first series of profiles. In response to receiving the selection from the first user of the first profile of the first series of profiles, the processor determines, based at least in part on the selection from the first user of the first profile, a second series of profiles. The processor additionally uses the interface to transmit the second series of profiles to the second user.

  • Publication number: 20250211528
Abstract: A method of forwarding a data packet includes, in part, receiving the data packet at an ingress interface, reordering entries of the data packet such that a first forwarding equivalence class (FEC), indexed by a first forwarding lookup table, is caused to point to a virtual private network (VPN) identifier associated with a tunnel through which the data packet is to be forwarded. The reordering of the entries causes a second FEC to point to a multitude of common tunnel header entries. The second FEC is indexed by the first FEC and has a lower level than the first FEC. The data packet with the reordered entries is forwarded through the tunnel. The egress tunnel header rewrite table entries are also reordered in accordance with which the data packet is forwarded.

  • Patent number: 12342007
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for reducing latency in content and content source switching in a digital content delivery network. In one embodiment, linear addressable secondary content is “switched into” primary content within a cloud-based model using one or more latency-reducing techniques so as to minimize the user's perception of delay in performing the switch. In one implementation, secondary content video encodings are selected based on the encoding scheme of the primary content, and open GOPs within the primary content at the content transition point are closed or avoided, each to reduce processing overhead of the recipient client device. In another implementation, otherwise cloud-inaccessible functionality of the client device is accessed to reduce or suspend processing on non-essential tasks to make more processing resources available at the client. In yet another implementation, intelligent RF PHY scheduling of the primary and secondary content are utilized to minimize RF re-tuning by the client.

  • Patent number: 12342278
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a first device in a network may obtain a satellite communication schedule indicative of when a satellite will be in communication range of the first device. The first device may communicate with the satellite according to the satellite communication schedule. The first device may receive a request for the satellite communication schedule from a second device in the network. The first device may send the satellite communication schedule to the second device, wherein the second device uses the satellite communication schedule to configure a wake schedule of the second device.

  • Publication number: 20250201033
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a dynamic processing system for roadside service control and output generation. A computing platform may receive, from a client device, video content corresponding to a disabled vehicle, which may include geotagging information corresponding to a location of the disabled vehicle. Based on the video content and the geotagging information, the computing platform may determine a provider output indicating a potential service provider for assisting with the disabled vehicle. The computing platform may send, to the client device, an indication of the provider output. In response to receiving an indication that the potential service provider is acceptable, the computing platform may send a request to dispatch a driver of the potential service provider to the location of the disabled vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250184412
Abstract: A networking device receives packets that may include a label header specifying a label for processing the packet based on a corresponding entry in a label table. When the label has a corresponding entry in the label table, the packet is processed according to the label entry. When the packet has a label but the label table does not have a corresponding label, rather than discarding the packet, the networking device converts the packet for forwarding according to a network address specified in the packet. Label headers may be removed from the packet to prevent subsequent devices from incorrectly continuing label-based processing, enabling the packet to “exit” the overall path represented by the labels and processed as though the packet didn't arrive with a label header. When devices may lack intended labels, this permits continued processing of packets according to the network address information.
