    Abstract: The treatment of nylon fabric for wettability, with the treated fabric capable of withstanding a substantial number of launderings without undue loss of wettability, involving exhaustion of a condensation product of ethylene oxide with an aliphatic primary amine having between about 16 and about 18 carbon atoms in a ratio of about 16 moles ethylene oxide per mole of said primary amine, quaternized with methyl sulfate, onto the fabric under relatively intense agitation.
