    Abstract: The idea of this invention is to increase the visibility of the road and traffic signals for drivers as they are driving facing the sun directly. The main concept is to block the sun rays completely from the road view without darkening the total view through the visor shades. The invention still uses a light shaded panel attached to the visor to reduce the glare from the entire view, but in addition, it eliminates completely sun rays going straight to the eyes. This elimination concept is achieved by creatively placing two dark blocking circles on the shade to stop the sun rays going directly to the eyes.

    Abstract: An automated ultraviolet germicidal system sterilizes a sterilization area with an automated sterilization mechanism that is selectively actuated and terminated, depending on events in the sterilization area, and elapse of a predetermined time period. A sterilization mechanism selectively emits a germicide element in or near a sterilization area, so as to sterilize the sterilization area from germs. An actuation device operatively connects with the sterilization mechanism to regulate the actuation and termination of the germicide element generated by the sterilization mechanism. A command device, controlled by a user, transmits an actuation signal to the actuation device to actuate the sterilization mechanism, upon entry of a code. A termination device has a set of sensors that detects events near the sterilization area, and transmits a termination signal to the actuation device to terminate operation of the sterilization mechanism upon detection of the event, or after elapse of time period.

    Abstract: A pattern recognition locking system and method is operable to lock and unlock an object through a sequence of knocks, rotations, and ambient vibrations that are measured by an accelerometer as acceleration, and a gyroscope as orientation. The sequence and intensity of vibrations and intensity are processed by a microcontroller that utilizes a pattern recognition algorithm to: recognize the intensity and sequence of acceleration and orientation; identify the most intense motion from the degrees of freedom; and, after identifying a sequence of the most intense motions for respective degree of freedom, the microcontroller transmits a signal to lock mechanism to lock or unlock an object if sequence of degrees of motion match a stored passcode. A sleep module powers off the system when no motion or vibrations detected. A new sequence of ambient vibrations and motion are created through a learning module. A reset switch reprograms the sequence of motions.

    Abstract: A system and method for retrieving a lost item is configured to enable efficient retrieval of at least one item that has been lost by a first user and found by a second user. The system and method enables a first user and a second user to register in a data storage site and communicate through a forum for indicating loss of the item and verification of ownership of the item. The system and method also enables the item to be registered in the data storage site prior to being lost, such that identification and return of the lost item is centralized. The system and method further enables the first user to offer incentives for return of the lost item. The system and method is also monetized by charging a fee to the users for access to the data storage site and the forum.

The local data controller integrates into the local device controller for actuation of the resources. The user controls the resources from multiple locations onsite or remotely, and the resources can be located at multiple locations. A secure key server authenticates transmission of the command. Multiple modules provide operational phases, and include: a resource registration module, a child node addition module, a child node deletion module, an access rights modification module, a user deletion module, and a resource actuation module.

    Abstract: A portable logic design testing module detachably integrates with a breadboard, and connects with other logic design modules on the breadboard to form larger testing systems. The logic design module provides input signals through at least one input module, and displays output signals through at least one output module. The module utilizes interconnecting circuits for modularizing adjacent modules, logic switches for controlling logic binary numbers, counters for incrementally manipulating the binary numbers, LEDs for displaying the binary numbers, and a display for displaying the binary numbers. The module detachably connects to the breadboard through a six-pin header to enable facilitated displacement between different regions of the breadboard.     Abstract: A continuous breadboard provides a continuous surface having no gaps or barriers. The continuous surface enables electrical components to position anywhere on the surface of the breadboard. The electrical components orient along any row or column on the surface of the breadboard. The capacity to position anywhere on the breadboard enables variously sized and dimensioned electrical components and their lead ends to integrate with the breadboard in myriad configurations. Additionally, multiple electrical components may be staked side-by-side for lateral electrical connectivity. The breadboard comprises a plate that forms a continuous surface with no gaps or barriers. The plate comprises banks disposed to abut an adjacent bank, such that no gaps are formed between banks. Apertures that extend twelve columns and one row across the banks provide electrical connections. The banks are grouped into a sets that share a common electrical continuity and can include an alternating AABBAABBCCDD arrangement.

The device is configured to easily attach to the line and facilitate setting of the controller, such that minimal tools and expertise are needed for operation. A container attaches to the line and holds a biocide and a volume having a vacuum. A pump forces a fluid into the vacuum to disturb the equilibrium, and thus partially force the biocide into the line. A resistance member restricts the flow to drops to further regulate the flow of the biocide into the line.
