  • Publication number: 20250341655
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a basecoat composition, including (A) at least one film-forming polymer (A1), and in case of (A1) being externally crosslinkable, at least one crosslinking agent (A2); (B) at least two types of metal effect pigments (B); (C) at least one type of a LiDAR reflecting mica pigment (C); and (D) water and/or one or more organic solvents as component (D). Further disclosed herein are a method of forming a coating layer or multilayer coating as well as a method of improving the LiDAR reflectivity and/or LiDAR detectability of objects. Additionally disclosed herein are coating layers and coated substrates, the formation of which make use of the basecoat compositions. Also disclosed herein is a method of using the coated substrates in LiDAR visibility applications concerning vehicles and parts thereof.

  • Patent number: 10723098
Abstract: A composite sandwich panel comprises a top layer, a bottom layer, and a honeycomb core layer sandwiched between the top layer and the bottom layer. The honeycomb core layer includes an array of hollow cells formed between vertical walls. This array of hollow cells is recessed in the form of a channel network running from a first side face of the sandwich panel through the honeycomb core layer to a second side face, opposite to the first side face of the sandwich panel.

  • Patent number: 10611483
Abstract: A passenger seat arrangement for a transport vehicle has at least one first passenger seat or row of seats having a first backrest, at least one second passenger seat having a second backrest which, by its rear side, faces the rear side of the first backrest, and a seat supporting frame. The seat supporting frame comprises a first backrest reinforcing strut which is arranged along the first backrest at a first inclination angle with respect to the horizontal, and a second backrest reinforcing strut which is arranged along the second backrest at a second inclination angle, supplementary to the first inclination angle, with respect to the horizontal.

  • Patent number: 10465378
Abstract: A rod connection system includes a first structural member having an angled pin connector integrally formed at an end portion of the first structural member with angled pins being spaced apart from and protruding parallel to an end face of the first structural member. The rod connection system further includes a second structural member having an angled socket connector integrally formed at an end portion of the second structural member with angled tubes as sockets for the angled pins of the first structural member. The angled tubes are spaced apart from and protruding parallel to an end face of the second structural member.

  • Patent number: 10430548
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for space frame design involves constructing a load stress map in a geometrical boundary representation of a design space, defining attachment points and load application points in the design space, creating a starting network of interconnecting lines between each two of the attachment points and load application points in the design space, assigning load application factors to each line of the starting network of interconnecting lines based on values of the load stress map, generating potential space frame designs by culling different subsets of lines of the starting network of interconnecting lines for each potential space frame design according to variable culling parameters, evaluating the potential space frame designs with respect to optimization parameters, combining the culling parameters for the potential space frame designs the performance score of which is above a predefined performance threshold, and iterating the steps of generating potential space frame designs and e
