  • Patent number: 8429981
Abstract: The measuring method is for measuring a physical parameter using an electronic interface circuit (1) for a capacitive sensor (2) with at least two capacitors (C1X, C2X) whose common electrode (CM) is mobile between the fixed electrodes. The electronic circuit includes an amplifier (4) connected to the common electrode (CM) by a switching unit (3), a logic unit (5) connected to the amplifier for supplying first and second digital measuring signals, and a digital-analogue converter (7) for supplying a measurement voltage (VDAC) to the electrodes on the basis of a conversion of one of the digital signals.

  • Patent number: 8051711
Abstract: The electronic circuit for measuring at least one physical parameter supplies an analogue output measurement signal (SA) dependent upon the value of a supply voltage. The circuit includes a sensor interface, connected to a sensor for supplying an analogue measurement signal (Vm) which is then filtered, an analogue-digital converter for digitally converting the filtered signal (Sm), and a digital signal control and processing unit for receiving a converted signal from the converter and supplying a digital measurement signal (SD). The sensor interface, the analogue-digital converter, and the processing unit are powered by a voltage regulator. The analogue and digital measurement signals are thus independent of any variation in the supply voltage (VCC) of the electronic circuit. A ratiometric unit, which may be an analogue multiplier or an analogue-digital converter, is powered by the supply voltage source (Bat) to recreate ratiometry on SA on the basis of Sm or SD.

Abstract: The electronic circuit (1) for measuring at least one physical parameter supplies an analogue output measurement signal (SA) dependent upon the value of a supply voltage. The circuit includes a sensor interface (2) connected to a sensor (C) for supplying an analogue measurement signal (Vm) which is then filtered. The circuit further includes an analogue-digital converter (8) for digitally converting the filtered signal (Sm), a digital signal control and processing unit (9) for receiving a converted signal from the converter, and supplying a digital measurement signal (SD). The sensor interface, the analogue-digital converter and the processing unit (9) are powered by a regulated voltage supplied by a voltage regulator (4). The analogue and digital measurement signals are thus independent of any variation in the supply voltage (VCC) of the electronic unit.

  • Publication number: 20060179943
Abstract: The invention concerns an electronic circuit (10) for measuring a force, including a capacitive sensor (12) connected to a capacitive bridge (14), of the type wherein the capacitive sensor (12) includes a moving electrode (16) suspended elastically between a first (18) and a second (20) fixed electrode so as to form respectively a first (C1) and a second (C2) capacitor whose capacitance is variable, of the type wherein the capacitive bridge (14) generates an electric output signal (Vs), which is a function of the capacitance variations of the capacitors (C1, C2), of the type wherein the capacitance value of each capacitor (C1, C2) is substantially lower than one picofarad, when the moving electrode (16) occupies a rest position, and of the type wherein the excitation frequency of the circuit (10) is comprised overall within the low frequency range, characterised in that a series impedance element (26, 28, 30) is interposed between each of the three electrodes (16, 18, 20) and the capacitive bridge (14) so as

  • Publication number: 20030156213
Abstract: The image recording apparatus (3) of small dimensions includes a sensor (4) and a lens assembly formed of focussing lenses (8, 9, 10) arranged in a frame (12). The sensor is arranged on a first face (16) of a support (18), which has an aperture (20) facing which is arranged the photosensitive surface (6) of said sensor. On the other side, on the second face (22) of the support is arranged the lens assembly frame such that the lenses are substantially aligned with the support aperture and the photosensitive surface. The sensor is formed of a semiconductor substrate defining the photosensitive surface and having at the periphery thereof pads or bumps for electric contact with the support.
