  • Patent number: 10691308
Abstract: A medical system comprising a display is presented. In response to the reception of triggering information, a subset of data is selected from a displayed or non-displayed dataset according to a data priority scheme and the displayed dataset is replaced by the display of the selected subset of data. The display of the selected subset of data uses a variety of rendering options. The triggering information is provided by the user or provided by one or more sensors. The data priority scheme is predefined or computed. It is static or dynamic. The data priority scheme can comprise a threshold which is applied for the selection or determination of the subset of data. Examples of priorities associated with data for diabetes care are provided. A range of displays can be used and combined.

  • Publication number: 20190183544
Abstract: A system for treating a bone fracture includes an intramedullary nail sized and shaped to be inserted through a medullary canal of a bone to extend across a fracture site of the bone, the intramedullary device extending from a first end to a second end and including a plurality of openings extending laterally therethrough, the openings sized and shaped to receive bone fixation elements therethrough, and an insertion device including a base portion and a handle portion extending therefrom, the base portion integrally formed with the intramedullary nail and connected thereto via a plurality of connection points which, when a force is exerted thereon, break to disconnect the insertion device from the intramedullary nail, the base portion including a plurality of guide channels extending therethrough, each of the guide channels being aligned with a corresponding one of the openings of the intramedullary nail.

  • Patent number: 8343099
Abstract: A device for metered administration of a liquid product including a container for the product, a delivery mechanism which acts on the product located in the container and delivers product from the container by means of an axial output movement in a delivery direction, and an inherently axially rigid housing support structure which supports the container in and counter to the delivery direction, wherein the housing support structure has, over the axial length of the container, an axial thermal expansion coefficient which, within a temperature range in which the device is used, corresponds at least substantially to the axial thermal expansion coefficient of the container.

  • Patent number: 7862544
Abstract: A drive arrangement for an injection device, including a first stage, a second stage and a drive for shifting the stages, wherein the drive acts on one of the stages to shift said one of the stages first and wherein the stage which is first shifted encounters a higher resistance than does the other stage, such that the other stage is shifted.
