Abstract: The present invention is a method and system of planning, monitoring and exploring the interior and vicinity of a building or an infra-structure utilizing a computer. The method provides a GUI that optimizes the limited screen space of the computer to provide important functions and toolsets to design scenarios for applications in planning, monitoring and exploring infra-structures. In a scenario, the user can incorporate assets into the application, link the assets to physical setup such as CCTV or positioning devices for monitoring, animate the assets to understand the inter-play of assets for planning, and locate assets for exploring infra-structures.
