    Abstract: Methods of making a foam article comprise the steps of compressing a foam at an elevated temperature in a mold for shaping the foam; and cooling the mold to a temperature greater than room temperature, wherein the foam comprises at least one ethylene/?-olefin block interpolymer. The foam may further comprise an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer and an additive such as a filler or a crosslinking agent. The ethylene/?-olefin block interpolymers are a multi-block copolymer comprising at least one soft block and at least one hard block.
