  • Publication number: 20110167172
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media system for collecting and distributing session initiation protocol (SIP) event watcher entity subscription information in a communications network are disclosed. According to one aspect, the method includes receiving, at a first notifier server from a watcher entity client, a first subscription request for SIP event information associated with one or more watched entity clients. The method also includes receiving, at a watcher information (WINFO) entity, SIP event subscription information that includes an identifier indicating that the first notifier server serves the watcher entity client, storing the SIP event subscription information in the WINFO entity, detecting the unavailability of the first notifier server. The method further includes sending an instruction message, based on the identifier in the stored SIP event subscription information, to direct the watcher entity to generate a second subscription request associated for the SIP event information.

  • Publication number: 20100274488
Abstract: An apparatus and method for mapping a water pathway. A group of sensors can be employed for detecting one or more features associated with the water pathway in a direction of flow through the water pathway. A buoyant vessel maintains the sensors, and the sensors assist in compiling data indicative of the detected features. The velocity in the direction of flow through the water pathway can be then determined based on data indicative of the detected feature(s). A mapping of the water pathway can be thereafter generated utilizing the velocity with respect to the features detected by the sensors.

  • Publication number: 20100161809
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for regulating pinhole preservation traffic generated or received by firewall or network address translator (NAT) session initiation protocol (SIP) user agent clients (UACs) are disclosed. One method includes, maintaining a list of contact information for a plurality of SIP UACs registering from behind at least one of a firewall and a NAT. The method further includes iterating through the list to generate SIP messages to the different UACs such that the SIP messages to the different UACs are spaced at substantially regular intervals with respect to each other, wherein the SIP messages to the different UACs trigger responses from the UACs such that the responses are spaced at substantially regular intervals with respect each other.

  • Publication number: 20100057324
Abstract: A system and method for operating an engine having ionization signal sensing include detecting plug fouling and controlling the engine using progressively more aggressive control strategies if the fouling condition persists. A first control strategy may be used when the number of engine starts or running time are below corresponding thresholds and a second strategy otherwise. The first strategy may employ progressively more aggressive control procedures to eliminate spark plug deposits that may include repetitive sparking, exhaust cycle sparking, increasing engine loading, advancing spark timing, increasing air/fuel ratio, and increasing idle speed, for example. The second strategy may include similar corrective actions employed in a different order and/or to a lesser degree in an attempt to eliminate plug fouling without any noticeable change in engine operation or performance as perceived by the vehicle operator.

  • Publication number: 20100027532
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for providing sedation service in a telecommunications network are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method for providing sedation service in a telecommunications network is provided. The method includes steps that are performed at a session initiation protocol (SIP) sedation node. The method includes receiving a first message sent from a SIP user agent and intended for a SIP server. The method further includes determining whether the SIP server is unavailable. The method further includes responsive to a determination that the SIP server is unavailable to respond to the first message, sending, to the SIP client, a SIP sedation message for reducing the number or frequency of messages sent by the SIP user agent to the SIP server.

  • Patent number: 7504992
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring topological changes in a defined area. A grid of sensors is arranged in the area, with known distances between them. The sensors communicate wirelessly with a host computer, which individually addresses each sensor to instruct that sensor to be in an interrogate mode or responder mode. When a sensor is in interrogate mode, it measures distance from a neighboring sensor using radar (continuous wave phase difference) measurements. When a sensor is in responder mode, it receives, delays, and returns a signal received from a neighboring sensor.

  • Patent number: 6957384
Abstract: A method for storing, organizing and providing remote electronic access to documents. A cover sheet including a standard set of identification data characterizing each document is developed and stored. A digital version of each document is created and stored by scanning each contract. Each digital version includes a scanned image and a searchable text file, wherein the text is overlaid with the image. An index of bookmarks identifying sections of the digital version of each document is generated. Selected fields of information are captured from the digital version of the document. • Patent number: 5830046
Abstract: An apparatus for continually shifting an endless abrasive belt trained between a drive pulley and an idler wheel. The belt is trained around an idler wheel which is supported by an arm above a continually pivoting platform transverse to the travel direction of travel of the endless belt. The platform is pivotally supported by a fulcrum mechanism at a pivot axis bisecting the platform, and a resilient member urges one side of the platform down while an inflatable and deflatable bladder continually urges the other side of the platform up and down. A tensioning means biases the arm supporting the idler wheel away from the drive pulley to maintain tension on the endless belt between the idler wheel and the drive wheel while the idler wheel is reciprocating. The bladder is continually inflated and deflated per a preselected time period to selectively vary the shifting cycle.
