  • Patent number: 11441604
Abstract: A loader slot bearing includes an annular housing having first and second axial surfaces and an interior area extending therebetween. The interior area has a first inner surface that extends between the first and second axial surfaces. A portion of the inner surface is a first bearing surface that has a spherical contour. A slot extends partially into the first inner surface from the first axial surface. The slot has a first width. The annular housing is manufactured from a precipitation hardened corrosion resistant stainless steel. The loader slot bearing includes a truncated ball that is positioned in the slot and rotated so that the truncated ball is rotatably retained by the first bearing surface. The truncated ball is angularly misalignable relative to the housing and is manufactured from a 440C stainless steel. A dry lubricant is applied to the spherical exterior surface of the truncated ball.

  • Patent number: 10474246
Abstract: A keypad having a keypad frame and at least three input devices arranged in a grid layout within the keypad frame. A signal output is generated by the keypad after two sequential actuations of any two selected input devices of the at least three input devices. A first selected input device of the two selected input devices selects a block of signal outputs associated with the first selected input device, the block of signal outputs being mapped to match the grid layout of the at least three input devices. A second selected input device of the two selected input devices selects a particular signal output from the block of signal outputs, the second selected input device corresponding in a relative position with a position of the particular signal output in the block of signal outputs.

  • Patent number: 9482269
Abstract: A system for isolating electrical current in an aircraft structure includes a first structure a bearing having an outer race and an inner race and a liner disposed therebetween, the outer race having a second structure coupled thereto. A dielectric seal is secured to the outer race and engages the inner race. A conditionally non-conductive gas occupies a sealed chamber that defines a gap between the inner race and the outer race. The gap has a predetermined magnitude sufficient to prevent electrical arcing or current leakage between the inner race and the outer race at a first voltage less than that voltage resulting from a lightning strike; and/or to conduct an electrical current between the inner race and the outer race at a second voltage greater than or equal to the voltage resulting from the lightning strike.

  • Patent number: 9114304
Abstract: A system of attaching a ski binding to a ski allowing quick interchange of bindings to other skis, and without the use of any hand tools. A first fastener is permanently attached to a ski, while the binding is permanently attached to a binding carrier plate that includes a mating, second fastener. The first and second fasteners are engaged by a quick release mechanism that is longitudinally shorter than a typical direct mounting system for a binding, resulting in reduced scrub area at the mounting to the ski. The binding mounting plate can extend longitudinally beyond the binding to provide mounting area for vibration dampers and camber adjusters.

  • Publication number: 20120271719
Abstract: A facility for populating an advertising segment is described. For distinguished content, the facility accesses a data structure that, for each of two or more users, relates an instance of sharing of the distinguished content to the user with one or more instances of sharing the distinguished content from the user. The facility accesses a segment definition that specifies a test that, for each of the users, is either satisfied or not satisfied based upon the contents of the data structure. The facility selects the users for whom the test is satisfies, and constructs a list of identifiers identifying the selected users.
