  • Publication number: 20240163179
Abstract: Techniques for monitoring data transport in a network virtualization function (NVF) chain. A path tracing packet is generated having a Midpoint Compressed Data (MCD) to collect path tracing information of the NVF chain. The NVF node is configured to record an MCD containing Wide Local Path Tracing Identification (WL PT ID). The WL PT ID includes a first field having a value that indicates that a non-standard path tracing format is to be used and has a second field that indicates a particular path tracing format to be used. The path tracing packet is passed through the NVF chain and is then received back again after passing through the NVF chain. Data collected by the path tracing packet is analyzed to determine which NVF nodes the path tracing packet passed through, and the amount of time taken for the path tracing packet to pass through, the NVF chain.

  • Publication number: 20240137394
Abstract: Simulator augmented content selection is provided by initializing a content selection object according to session initialization parameter values associated with a simulated media content playback session. The content selection object corresponds to a candidate content selection machine learning model trained to predict selectable content media items for at least one simulated user. A simulated session including a sequence of predicted simulated user next actions and one or more predicted sets of selectable content items are generated by applying a simulated user model to content items identified by the initialized content selection object, where the simulated user model is trained to predict a next action of the simulated user in response to a simulated playback input received from the simulated user and each set of the selectable content items are correlated to each next action in the sequence of predicted simulated user next actions.

  • Publication number: 20230419187
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products are provided for content generation. A distribution of policies is defined based on an action space. Distribution parameters are received from a reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm. In turn, a policy is randomly sampled from the distribution of policies. A candidate content item is generated using the sampled policy. A quality of the candidate content item is measured based on a predefined quality criteria and a parameter model is adjusted as specified by the reinforcement learning algorithm to obtain a plurality of updated distribution parameters. Environment settings are passed to a trained parameter model to obtain a plurality of policy distribution parameters. A predetermined number of policies from the distribution of policies are then sampled and the plurality of environment settings are passed to the predetermined number of sampled policies to obtain at least one content item.

  • Publication number: 20220383662
Abstract: A method is described, for processing images of persons or objects to generate an identity preservative feature descriptor learnt for each person or object. The method includes obtaining an image of a person or object, extracting at least one spatial attribute of the person or object from the obtained image, and extracting at least one appearance feature of the person or object from the image by using a mapping function to translate image pixels into appearance attributes represented by at least one numerical feature. The method also includes combining the at least one spatial attribute and the at least one appearance feature to generate the unique feature descriptor representing the person or the object, to assign the unique feature descriptor to the image to enable feature descriptors representing the same person or object to be compared to feature descriptors representing different people or objects given a predefined mathematical pseudo-distance metric according to a least a distance from each other.

  • Patent number: 9886546
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed to label radiology images. An example system includes a processor and a database. In response to receiving a first user input via a data input, the processor is to generate first annotations on a spinal image. The processor is to cause the spinal image having the first annotations to be displayed at a user interface. The processor is to prompt a user to provide second user input identifying an error in the first annotations. In response to receiving the second user input, the processor is to generate second annotations on the spinal image. The second annotations is to correct the error in the first annotations.
