Abstract: A method of deforming a geometric object. The method comprises providing a data segment representing a geometric object, defining a contour enclosing the geometric object in the data segment, calculating a plurality of barycentric coordinates having a plurality of complex coefficients according to the enclosing contour, receiving user input to manipulate the enclosing contour to a target contour, and using the plurality of barycentric coordinates according to the target contour for mapping the geometric object to a target geometric object.

Abstract: An arbiter detects waiting states of N buffers holding direct memory access (DMA) requests, and detects an availability of R core channels of a core R-channel DMA memory. The arbiter, based on the detection, dynamically grants up to R of the N buffers access to the R core channels. An N-to-R controller communicates DMA requests from the N buffers to currently granted ones of the R core channels, and maintains a location record of different data from each of the N buffers being written into different ones of the R core channels.

Abstract: A virtual resource management method, system, and apparatus are applied in the field of communications technologies. The virtual resource management method includes running an input/output I/O domain on a remote node, if the remote node needs to enter a sleep state, obtaining information of a processor core occupied by running the input/output I/O domain on the remote node; stopping running the I/O domain if the remote node is in the sleep state; and sorting, according to the obtained information of the processor core, a resource of a corresponding processor core to a virtual resource pool, so that the processor core can be used to perform service processing, thereby implementing virtual resource management.

Abstract: An automatic positioning device includes a holder, a first motor, a securing block, a second motor, and a connecting rod. The first motor is mounted on the holder and horizontally slides relative to the holder. The securing block is fixed with the first motor. The second motor is mounted on the securing block and vertically slides relative to the securing block. The connecting rod is connected with the second motor. The first motor drives the connecting rod moving horizontally and the second motor drives the connecting rod moving vertically.

Abstract: An anode oxidation device comprises an anode oxidation tank, a force transmission mechanism, a fixing mechanism, an electric control mechanism, and a conduction mechanism. The tank comprises a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The force transmission mechanism is rotatably fixed to the tank. The fixing mechanism is detachably fixed to the force transmission mechanism. The electronic control mechanism is connected to the force transmission mechanism and drives the force transmission mechanism to make the fixing mechanism move from the first end to the second end.

Abstract: A method for dialing between Internet extensions is disclosed. When dialing between Internet extensions, just dial the switchboard phone number of SIP proxy server plus “-” and then dial the extension phone number of the opposite Internet extension directly. It is not necessary to use a voice guidance for asking dialing of the extension phone number of the opposite Internet extension.

Abstract: This disclosure describes devices, systems and techniques relating to a dongle device that is designed to provide broadcast video capabilities to an electronic device. In one example, a dongle device is configured to communicatively couple to an electronic device, wherein the dongle device comprises a multimedia receiver that receives a broadcast that includes multimedia data, and a web server that communicates the multimedia data to a web browser of the electronic device.

Abstract: A method for dialing from Internet extension to conventional extension is disclosed. A VoIP gateway or an IP auto attendants is used for dialing from Internet extension to conventional extension. The phone number of the Private Branch Exchange and the voice guidance are not needed. The calling number of SIP message is interpreted directly and converted into DTMF (Dual-tone multi-frequency) messages for dialing into a conventional extension.

Abstract: The present invention provides an NAT (Network Address Translator) traversal method in Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for solving the problems of SIP in Internet phone (VoIP) under current Internet environment. In other words, the present invention solves the SIP problems caused by NAT (Network Address Translator) that P2P (Peer to Peer) transmission cannot traverse the NAT firewall directly.

Abstract: An expanding card mechanism for protecting a circuit board is disclosed. The expanding card mechanism includes an upper case, a lower case, a plastic frame rack, a plastic baffle and an interface joint. The main feature is that two sides of the plastic frame rack form two positioning guiding tracks, respectively, for matching an inside concave slot guiding tracks of the two sides on the lower case and the plastic frame rack is slid well in the lower case until positioning convex blocks of the plastic frame are locked in positioning pinholes of the lower case. Furthermore, the two positioning convex blocks of the plastic baffle matching the two corresponding positioning guiding slots of the plastic frame rack are fixed well to form foolproof protection, and the circuit board and the interface joint are equipped with the lower case.

Abstract: Duration based accounting for a packet data service, for example offered as a prepaid mobile IP (MIP) service through a public mobile wireless communication network, uses last detected user activity to determine the end of each session for accounting purposes. The accounting policy or algorithm defines user activity so as to include receipt of signaling related to the MIP session, such as signaling related to a termination by the user or the user's mobile station, in addition to packet data routed for the mobile station. If a session ends due to a network termination, e.g. binding expires or the network disconnects upon prepaid quota exhaustion, then the last user activity used for accounting purposes is the last data packet communication to/from the mobile station or the last received MIP session-related signaling message. For example, if MIP signaling terminates the session, then the session duration runs until receipt of that signaling.

Abstract: An apparatus for covering an opening in a structure may include spaced rails positioned at opposed sides of the opening. Each rail includes a channel and a is curtain movable along the rails to cover and uncover the opening. A locking bar is attached to one end of the curtain. The locking bar has opposed end portions received in the channels, and a locking channel is positioned close to the ends of each rail to receive the bar. The locking channel is disposed at an angle relative to the channel and the bar is selectively received in the locking channel to lock the curtain in a position covering the opening. In some embodiments the locking bar includes a length that spans the distance between the side rails and is selectively locked in the sill along at least thirty percent of the length.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a modular server-on-a-USB-flash-storage is disclosed. The server-on-a-USB-flash-storage is installed on a computing device. The method and system include providing USB interface logic, USB Local Control Program, a flash memory and a set of control button connectors, light emitting diodes (LED) connectors and a liquid crystal display (LCD) connector. The USB Local Control Program is coupled with the USB interface logic and the flash memory. The USB interface logic interacts with the computing device and allows computing device to detect the server board. The USB Local Control Program boots up the server and prepares the computing device for use as the server. The flash memory stores a server image for the server, which is provided to the computing device using the USB Local Control Program. The control button connectors allow the server to be turned on, shut down gracefully, or restored to its initial state, by a single press of buttons connected to these connectors.

Abstract: A Flash memory card system is disclosed. The Flash memory card system comprises a Flash memory wireless host adapter and a Flash memory bus wireless device. The Flash memory wireless host adapter comprises a Flash memory card connector and a Flash memory controller coupled to the Flash memory card connector. The Flash-52 memory card signals are converted to standard Flash memory internal bus signals by the Flash memory controller. The host adapter further comprises a Flash memory wireless module coupled to the Flash memory controller for receiving and transmitting the standard Flash memory bus signals wirelessly. The Flash-51 memory bus wireless device comprises a Flash memory bus wireless device adapter coupled to a Flash memory. The device adapter is paired to the wireless module for receiving and transmitting the standard Flash memory bus signals wirelessly. A host device storage capacity utilizing the Flash memory card system is expanded.

Abstract: Method and system for expanding the memory capacity of devices that use flash memory cards. In one aspect, a memory card expander assembly includes an adaptor shaped to be connected to a memory card slot of a host device, and a receptacle assembly in communication with the adaptor and operative to be attached to the host device. The receptacle assembly includes an expanded memory card slot operative to connect to a memory card such that the host device can communicate with the connected memory card when the adaptor is connected to the memory card slot.

Abstract: A shape-molding structure of a memory card comprises a circuit substrate, at least one chip, and an encapsulant covering. The upper and lower surfaces of the circuit substrate have a circuit layer and a plurality of electric contacts, respectively. The chip is located on the upper surface of the circuit substrate and electrically connected with the circuit layer. The encapsulant covering is formed by using a mold to press encapsulant entering at least one encapsulant inlet provided on at least one side surface of the circuit substrate. The encapsulant covering encapsulates all the above components with only the electric contacts exposed. A trace mark of the encapsulant inlet remaining on the encapsulant covering is then cut to obtain a shape-molding structure of memory card with an smooth and intact outer appearance.

Abstract: A Flash memory card is disclosed comprising a substrate, a Flash memory die on top of the substrate, a controller die on top of the Flash memory die, and an interposer coupled to with the controller die and on top of the Flash memory die wherein the interposer results in substantial reduced wire bonding to the substrate. The interposer can surround or be placed side by side with the controller die. A system and method in accordance with the present invention achieves the following objectives: (1) takes advantage of as large of a Flash memory die as possible, to increase the density of the Flash card by reducing the number of wire bond pads on the substrate and enabling insertion of the largest die possible that can fit inside a given card interior boundary; (2) more efficiently stacks Flash memory dies to increase density of the Flash card; and (3) has a substantially less number of bonding wires to the substrate as possible, to improve production yield.

Abstract: A memory card comprising a substrate, a memory die on top of the memory die, a controller die on top of the memory die; and a interposer surrounding the controller die and on top of the memory die wherein the interposer allows for wire bonding to the substrate to be minimized. A system and method in accordance with the present invention achieves the following objectives: (1) increase the density of the Flash card by reducing the number of wire bond pads on the substrate and enabling insertion of the largest die possible that can fit inside a given card interior boundary; (2) more efficiently stacks Flash memory dies when stacking is necessary, to increase density of the Flash card; (3) has only a few necessary signal I/O bonding wires to the substrate to improve production yield.
