  • Patent number: 11357909
Abstract: A therapeutic substance delivery device includes a fluid path having a reservoir needle, a body needle, a body needle injection mechanism, and a pumping assembly (a) configured to pump the substance from the reservoir to the subject, (b) shaped to define a pump chamber, and (c) including a plunger disposed within the pump chamber. The plunger moves back and forth through a plurality of discrete motion phases. A first motion phase of the plunger actuates a first operation from a group of operations including (a) driving the reservoir needle to penetrate the reservoir, (b) advancing the body needle into the body of the subject, (c) withdrawing the substance from the reservoir, (d) pumping the substance into the subject, and (e) retracting the body needle. A second motion phase of the plunger actuates a second operation from the group of operations. Other applications are also described.

  • Patent number: 11350996
Abstract: Registration of catheter-sensed intrabody voltage field measurements obtained along one or more tracks of catheter advance of withdrawal is made, in some embodiments, to reference voltage field measurements lying along predetermined tracks. Tracks optionally comprise the course of a blood vessel such as the superior or inferior vena cava, a path defined and/or limited by encounters with a wall of a heart chamber and/or apertures thereof, and/or another track of catheter motion. In some embodiments, transform parameters are propagated to regions away from the track, potentially allowing more rapid acquisition of targets.

  • Publication number: 20220117511
Abstract: A system and method for early detection of adverse physiological phenomenon such as anastomotic leakage through a tissue-of-interest monitoring electrode implanted in proximity to a site of interest internal to the body. The tissue-of-interest monitoring electrode is operative provide an electrical signal responsive to changes in physiological conditions at the site of interest. The electrical signals may be provided to by a communication device to a monitor which comprises circuitry that is operative to process the received signals for determining, for example, if GI leakage occurs or not. If leakage is detected, the monitor issues a warning indicating that leakage occurs.
