  • Patent number: 12225089
Abstract: Methods for network aware endpoint data loss prevention (DLP) in web transactions are performed by systems and devices, which includes implementing DLP on endpoint devices and focuses on web traffic events from web browsers, while also associating the events to the network source entity. File download and upload events are intercepted from the operating system by a file system filter that determines the process creating events is a web browser based on process identifiers and comparing process names and process executable signatures. A uniform resource locator (URL) from a current tab or session is retrieved for the web browser. Policies for events are evaluated via a policy server or via cache, and additional data from the file is provided for policy decisions when necessary. DLP actions taken via the file system filter to block or allow events, including encrypting file data, are based on the policy decisions.

  • Publication number: 20250023896
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to determine that an entity was granted an anomalous role assignment to a managed environment. The processor may also, based on the determination that the role assignment of the entity is anomalous, identify at least one indicator associated with the role assignment, determine an indicator value corresponding to the identified at least one indicator, and determine whether the indicator value exceeds a predefined threshold value. The processor may, based on a determination that the indicator value exceeds the predefined threshold value, output an alert indicating that the role assignment is suspicious.

Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein for an application for generating and auto-tuning reading passages. A method of operating an application includes generating a prompt which elicits a reply from a foundation model service that includes a reading passage tailored to the ability of a reader. The prompt includes instructions for generating the reading passage using one or more trouble words and according to a desired readability. The desired readability is based on one or more indicators of a reader's reading ability. The application assesses the readability of the reading passage, resulting in an assessed readability. The application generates a follow-on prompts with which to elicit follow-on replies from the foundation model service that includes a request to adjust the reading passage based on the assessed reliability. The application enables display of the adjusted reading passage in a user interface of the application.

  • Patent number: 12162098
Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and method for Orbital welding of pipes or pipe segments together to form a pipeline, i.e., Orbital welding. A scanner welding unit, a control unit and a welding unit are combined to travel along and above a seam, which is formed between two interfacing base/cylindrical surfaces of every two pipe or pipe segments, scan the pipes/pipe segments relative positioning, alignment and levelling, and their surface geometry and topography and overlay a welding material starting from the root layer at the bottom of the seam and up to its edge and sealing it with a capping layer. The welding unit lowers a welding tip into the seam that may rotate on its axis at different angels relative to the surface during welding. The scanner unit may alert on mismatches on the relative position of the pipes/pipe segments before or after welding and in some cases enable repositioning for a more hermetically sealed weld.
