    Abstract: A gimbal mount in which an optical element is mounted in a carriage that mounts for rotation in a holder, which in turn mounts for rotation in a body. A first pair of counter-acting adjustment screws act upon a face of the holder to rotate the holder about a first axis. A second pair of counter-acting adjustment screws act upon a face of the carriage to rotate the carriage about a second axis. The first axis and second axis are orthogonal in the preferred embodiment.
