  • Patent number: 12246350
Abstract: A vibratory screening apparatus has a frame, a screen assembly affixed to the frame and having a screen with the plurality of spaced openings extending between outer edges of the screen, and a vibration amplifier coupled to the frame into the screen assembly. The screen assembly has a plurality of cross-members extending between sides or ends of said frame. The screen assembly has at least one screen cloth therein. The vibration amplifier is positioned directly beneath the screen assembly. The vibration amplifier is adapted to exert a force against a portion of an underside of the screen assembly.

  • Patent number: 11591868
Abstract: A vibrator separator system has a vibrator separator position and a vibratory basket, a screen assembly positioned in the vibratory separator, and a vibration amplifier coupled to the vibratory separator. The vibratory basket has sides arranged in spaced relation to each other. The vibratory separator has at least one motor affixed thereto. The screen assembly extends between an inlet end and a discharge end of the vibratory basket. The motor is cooperative with the screen assembly so as to impart a vibration frequency to the screen assembly. The vibration amplifier is positioned beneath the screen assembly. The vibration amplifier is cooperative with the screen assembly so as to exert a force against a portion of an underside of the screen assembly.

  • Patent number: 10557322
Abstract: A separation system for use with weighting materials in drilling fluids, the separation system has a body with an interior, a distribution chamber positioned in the interior of the body, a drilling fluid inlet pipe extending into the body in communicating with the distribution chamber, an overflow chamber positioned in the body, and at least one separation chamber positioned in the body and extending below the distribution chamber. The distribution chamber is configured to allow the drilling fluid to pass to the separation chamber. The separation chamber has a high-gravity solids outlet adjacent a lower end thereof and a fluid outlet adjacent an upper end thereof. The fluid outlet communicates with the overflow chamber. The separation channel has an inner diameter that tapers so as to narrow from the upper end thereof to the lower end thereof.

  • Patent number: 10012043
Abstract: A process for recovery of solids from a drilling fluid includes the steps of passing a solids-containing drilling fluid through a grinder, grinding the solids from the drilling fluid to a desired size, pumping the ground solids and the drilling fluid to hydrocyclone such that the hydrocyclone produces an overflow and an underflow. The overflow contains low-density solids and the underflow contains high-density solids. The high-density solids are passed to a container. The solids-containing drilling fluid is shaken prior to the step of grinding so as to remove oversize solids from the drilling fluid. The ground solids are pumped to the hydrocyclone at a generally constant pressure.
