  • Publication number: 20260110158
Abstract: A fluid handling apparatus for an ablutionary device is provided. The fluid handling apparatus comprises a hot inlet and a cold inlet connectable to a hot water supply and cold water supply respectively. A mixer valve receives hot and cold water and output a blended stream of hot water, cold water or a mixture thereof. A controller controls the mixer valve according to a target output temperature set by a user. A temperature sensor generates a temperature signal indicative of the temperature of water received at the hot water inlet. A primary outlet is connectable to an outlet or outlets of the ablutionary device. A secondary outlet is provided for water redirection. One or more flow control valves are in fluid communication with the mixer valve, and control water flow between the mixer valve and the primary and secondary outlets.

  • Publication number: 20260086667
Abstract: A device may be provided in a shower setting to provide users with a visually guided experience. For example, the device may be programmed to guide users through breathing exercises, guided meditations, or other functions during a shower experience. The device may include a display and at least one control feature. The shower may be configured to perform a cold plunge function, and the device may be programmed to portray a dynamic graphic and a timer graphic via the display while the shower performs the cold plunge function. The dynamic graphic may guide users through breathing exercises during the cold plunge function, and the timer graphic may provide an indication of an amount of time remaining before the cold plunge function ends.

  • Publication number: 20260015839
Abstract: A plumbing or ablutionary system is provided with a mixing device configured to receive at least one temperature-adjusted water supply stream and operable to provide at least one principal stream having a controlled temperature. At least one fluid delivery device is downstream of the mixing device, and the at least one fluid delivery device is arranged to receive one or more of the principal streams and to emit water therefrom. At least one receptacle is arranged to collect water emitted by the at least one fluid delivery device. A heat exchange apparatus receives a water supply stream and a waste water stream from a waste of the receptacle, and the water supply stream and the waste water stream are in a heat exchanging relationship as they pass through the heat exchange apparatus, thereby producing, in use, the temperature-adjusted water supply stream. The mixing device comprises a thermal battery.

  • Publication number: 20260009209
Abstract: A faucet is provided herein that may include a selectable spray mechanism, which, when activated, causes a spray pattern of the water to adjust. The faucet may include an inlet for introducing water into the faucet and a spout for providing the water to a user. The selectable spray mechanism may include: a first outlet chamber coupled to a first outlet route; a second outlet chamber coupled to a second outlet route; a shuttle for opening at least one of the first outlet chamber and the second outlet chamber; a spring surrounding a base of the shuttle; and a button coupled to the shuttle. When the button is pressed, the spring may contract, causing the shuttle to translate in a downward direction to open the second outlet chamber and cause water to flow out of the spout via the second outlet route.

  • Publication number: 20250362034
Abstract: Provided herein are water distribution systems and methods of operating water distribution systems that include a heat pump transferring heat between a first water stream dispensed into a space and a second water stream collected after use of the first water stream in the space. The heat pump can efficiently and effectively raise the temperature of the first water stream to a comfortable level for a user. In some embodiments, the first water stream may be further conditioned and/or processed downstream from the heat pump prior to being dispensed, e.g., using a mixing valve, a water storage tank, and/or a thermal storage device. In some embodiments, one or more operating parameters of the heat pump may be controlled according to a desired temperature of the first water stream being dispensed into the space.

  • Publication number: 20250025894
Abstract: A fluid delivery device comprises an inlet, a plurality of outlets, a first chamber suppling fluid to a first selection of the plurality of outlets, a second chamber suppling fluid to a second selection of the plurality of outlets, and a switching device between the inlet and the two or more chambers. The switching device has a first operating mode in which there is a first fluid flow rate from the inlet to the first chamber and a second operating mode in which there is a second fluid flow rate from the inlet to the second chamber. In the first operating mode, a fluid flow rate from the inlet to the second chamber is not equal to the second fluid flow rate. The switching device cycles between the first operating mode and the second operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20240018760
Abstract: A fluid flow control valve assembly is provided, and includes a fluid flow control valve which includes a first flow control member having one or more flow channels, and a second flow control member adjacent to the first flow control member. The second flow control member moves relative to the first flow control member. A first valve actuator causes movement of the second flow control member relative to the first flow control member. An operating member connects to the first valve actuator. The operating member moves in a linear direction and the operating member on the first valve actuator moves the second flow control member. Movement of the second flow control member adjusts the position of the second flow control member relative to the one or more flow channels in the first flow control member such that a flow rate through the fluid flow control valve may change.
