  • Publication number: 20150071284
Abstract: Discussed is an apparatus for transmitting an encoded video stream, comprising: a slice generating unit that divides a frame, comprised in a video stream, into at least one or more slice; and a transmitting unit transmitting the slice in units of a packet within a slice deadline, which is a time limit required for transmission of the slice, the transmitting unit that preferentially transmits a header packet that contain a slice header information over other packets, and the slice header that comprises of information necessary for reconstructing the slice, wherein the transmitting unit comprises: a packet transmitter that retransmits the packet when the packet fails to be transmitted within the predetermined retry limit; and a header protector performing control for the header packet to be repeatedly transmitted within the slice deadline even when number of retransmissions of the header packet exceeds the predetermined retry limit.

  • Publication number: 20070118517
Abstract: An information management method relates to make the connection between depositor (22) and searcher (24), using words (31W, 41W) of natural language. The word (31W, 41W) is attached with at least one predefined key-code (31K, 41K) which stands for at least one of the pre-analyzed subject-matters of the item and the associated depositor (22), forming a key-coded word (31, 41). The depositor (22) and the searcher (24) use the same key-codes (31K, 41K) with the words (31W, 41W) so as to attain consensus in communicating with each other, not only for single word query but also for the full text query.

  • Publication number: 20040165109
Abstract: A miniature bullet camera connected via cabling means to a camcorder or other suitable recording device, powered by a battery pack, and camouflaged to blend in with a hunter's personal environment, via attachment to a hat or other article of clothing, sporting implement or accessory, utilizing either a clasp, a pin, sewing, gluing, or hook-and-loop fastener material. The present invention may be used by a hunter in pursuing game, where it would be possible to film the game and/or the pursuit thereof from a hidden location without drawing attention to the camera or the hunter himself.

  • Patent number: 6687162
Abstract: Techniques to more accurately read values stored in data cells. In an aspect, one reference cell is provided for each group of data cells having similar configuration (e.g., similar layout and orientation). For split-gate memory cells arranged in pairs, each pair includes two data cells implemented as mirrored image of one another. Two reference cells may then be used, one reference cell for each data cell in a pair. In another aspect, the data paths for the reference and data cells for read operation are matched. This matching may be achieved by using the same circuit design for the data and reference sense amplifiers, using the same layout and orientation for the sense amplifiers, matching the lines for the two data paths, matching the structure (e.g., length and width) and the diffusion region (e.g., doping concentration and contact) for the sense amplifiers and lines, and so on.

  • Patent number: 5796334
Abstract: An apparatus and method suitable for use as an electronic remote locating device. The method including synchronizing an unprogrammed receiver with a transmitter so that the unprogrammed receiver responds only to the transmitter. The transmitter continuously increments a storage element when electrical power is initially applied to the transmitter and halts incrementing of the storage element when a first event is detected. Next, the transmitter saves the value of the storage element in memory as the unique identification code. The transmitter then transmits the identification code for a first predetermined length of time at a preselected frequency. The receiver monitors the preselected frequency searching for a received identification code for a predetermined period of time after electrical power is applied to the receiver. The receiver then verifies the validity of the received identification code and determines whether a prior identification code exists in the memory of the receiver.

  • Patent number: 4272763
Abstract: An attache case with automatic alarm system has a pair of mirco switches mounted in the handle thereof. If the micro switches are actutated, the edges of the attache case will produce a high voltage electric shock, and if the attache case is moved an alarm is sent out. The electric shock and alarm are intended to prevent the attache case from being stolen.
