  • Publication number: 20080149244
Abstract: A connecting assembly for a wireless tire pressure monitoring apparatus having a main body formed to be a branch joint with a first tube, a second tube and a third tube, a penetration needle with a first vent hole being positioned at the port of the first tube; an adapter attached to an end port of the first tube; a actuating pin disposed within the first tube and the third tube; and the air nozzle screwed in the third tube, the middle part of the sleeve portion having an second vent hole in the axial direction. When the first tube is mounted on the inflation valve, the air pressure within the tire will pass through the first tube. In this way, the tire pressure detector joined to the second tube can detect the tire pressure value at any time. It is not necessary to remove the tire pressure detector on the second tube for the inflation operation. Instead, the inflation of the tire can be done via the third tube, thereby facilitating the inflation of the internal tires to a great extent.

  • Publication number: 20080094196
Abstract: A hidden wireless tire pressure monitor, comprising a tire pressure monitor inside a tire, and an air faucet extending out of the tire. A conductive element is provided between the tire pressure monitor and the air faucet. The inside of conductive element electrically contacts the signal transmitting antenna on the monitor PCB in the tire pressure monitor, while the outside of the element connects and communicates with the root of air faucet. The signal transmitting antenna of the tire pressure monitoring system inside tire thereby extends out of the tire through an air faucet to receive a more accurate monitoring signal. Further, the monitor and the air faucet are at the status of pivot joint for adjustment of the installment angle based on the specification of a wheel rim, thereby ensuring the working stability and the tire security when the tire is removed.

  • Patent number: 4990731
Abstract: A pushbutton switch for use in a keyboard attached to a computer system, word processor, electric typewriter, etc., is implemented to give the operator both a tactile feel and a click sound when a key is entirely depressed. The switch comprises a housing, an actuating arm, a stem and a leaf spring mechanism. The leaf spring has an upright portion with a hook, a bent portion, a spring portion and a protruding portion. It is mounted in the housing such that when the stem is partially depressed, it forces the upright portion to slant toward the inner surface of side wall of the housing and the spring portion to be compressed. When the spring is depressed beyond a certain position, the protruding portion of the leaf spring slips off the ledge of the step portion of the side wall of the housing, causing the bent portion to snap toward and collide with the outer surface of the stem, thus producing the desired click sound.

  • Patent number: 4939327
Abstract: A keyboard switch for use with a membrane switch array (20) to provide a tactile feeling and, optionally, a click sound comprises a housing (10) which is positioned on the membrane switch array (20). A plunger (13) is reciprocally mounted within the housing (10) and projects outwardly from the housing, the plunger having a cam portion (133). An actuating arm (14) is pivoted to the housing (10) and has a first portion (141) extending beneath the plunger (13) and a second, cam follower portion (142) which engages the cam portion (133) of the plunger (13). The first portion (141) of the actuating arm (14) has a boss (1412) on its surface facing away from the plunger (13) for engaging the switch array (20). A compression spring (15) extends between the plunger (13) and the first portion 141 of the actuating arm (14) to urge the plunger (13) outwardly from the housing (10 ).
