Abstract: A plurality of personal units for aircraft passengers is provided. Each personal unit is arranged to define a longitudinal axis. The personal units are arranged to form first and second columns along a floor to define respective first and second column axes, the personal units in each column being arranged side-by-side in a longitudinally offset relationship at an acute angle to the respective column axis. Each personal unit is arranged to define a personal space for accommodating a person in a seated position and accommodating the person in a recumbent position. At least some of the personal units are arranged such that a portion of the personal space of the respective personal unit is arranged in a stacked relationship, in a direction perpendicular to the floor, with respect to a portion of the personal space of a personal unit in the respective other column.

Abstract: An aircraft that includes a cabin that has a floor, side walls, a ceiling and an interior, a first class section positioned in the interior that includes a longitudinally extending first aisle extending therethrough, a first door positioned fore of the first class section, an economy class section positioned in the interior and aft of the first class section, and a longitudinally extending second aisle that extends parallel to the first aisle and that does not extend through the first class section. An economy class passenger that enters through the first door travels down the second aisle to enter the economy class section and never enters the first class section.

Abstract: A lighting assembly that includes an outer housing defining an outer housing axis, an inner housing defining an inner housing axis and a light member positioned in the inner housing. The outer housing includes a front surface having a front opening and an inner surface that defines an adjustment cavity having a truncated spherical shape. The inner housing has a truncated spherical shape and is at least partially received within the adjustment cavity. The inner housing defines a light recess therein and includes a front cover having an aperture defined therein. The front cover at least partially defines the light recess. The light member defines a light axis. The light axis and the inner housing axis are not co-axial and not parallel and form an angle therebetween. The inner housing is adjustable between a home position and a plurality of adjustment positions.
