    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method comprising presenting, on a display screen of a console of a vehicle, a bar code; receiving an encrypted activation code at the console, the encrypted activation code based on user selection of a purchasable feature corresponding to the bar code, the purchasable feature comprising a locked feature associated with the vehicle; decrypting the encrypted activation code, and unlocking the selected purchasable feature based on the decrypted activation code.
