  • Publication number: 20240211973
Abstract: A platform signal modeler acquires a first technology platform signal and generates, using the first technology platform signal, a synthetic signal using natural language processing. The synthetic signal includes a first token and a second token, the tokens relating to particular technology components. The modeler determines a taxonomy binding for the tokens based on a semantic distance between the tokens and generates a co-occurrence value for the taxonomy binding. The modeler augments the synthetic signal by acquiring a second technology platform signal and determining, based on the second signal, a momentum indicium that relates to the technology component.

  • Publication number: 20240211750
Abstract: A platform signal modeler receives a technology platform signal comprising unstructured data associated with a set of metadata tags and executes a trained natural language processing (NLP) model to extract a set of tokens, which include a developer identifier token, a technology component mention token, and a developer impact token. Using the extracted set of tokens, the modeler generates a synthetic signal, vectorizes the synthetic signal and, using the vectorized synthetic signal, identifies an indexed technology component that corresponds to the technology component mention token or the metadata tag. The modeler generates, using the developer impact token, a developer impact indicator that relates to the indexed technology component.

  • Patent number: 11907069
Abstract: In network devices, during manufacturing, input for designation of a region code to be a non-specific region code is stored in a BIOS memory of the network device, and a specific region code is stored off the BIOS. During boot up, the BIOS is checked for a specific region code to regulate wireless transmissions at a physical location of operation. Responsive to receiving the non-specific region code from BIOS, the specific region code is requested from a region code server based on a network device identifier. Once received, the region code is stored in flash memory, until rebooted or otherwise reset, rather than BIOS.

  • Patent number: 11552523
Abstract: Electrical generators having one or more conformal support and cooling devices for use in supporting and cooling rotating elements of the generator are disclosed herein. An electrical generator includes a housing, a shaft disposed axially through the housing, a rotor assembly including a plurality of poles that are disposed within the housing and mounted on the shaft, a support wedge disposed between two of the plurality of poles. The conformal support and cooling device includes an internal cooling channel in a helical configuration or a V-shape configuration that extends from a first length-wise end of the support and cooling device to a second length-wise end of the support and cooling device. Additive manufacturing processes are employed to fabricate the conformal support and cooling device.

  • Publication number: 20200163388
Abstract: An integrally formed coil member includes a mouthpiece, a vaping chamber, and a heating coil. When the heating coil has deteriorated and needs to be replaced, the entire coil member can be exchanged rapidly and subsequently disposed. The coil member may also be left in a vaping tank when the vaping device is not in use.

  • Publication number: 20140096320
Abstract: A multilayer protective liner in the form of a cot bumper is provided to protect infants when sleeping or resting in a bedding arrangement such as a cot or crib. In one form, the cot bumper has two outer surfaces of a quilted padded mesh material which not only provides protection against accidental or inadvertent contact with exposed hard surfaces of the cot or crib, but also provides for air circulation around and through the protective layer so as to produce a healthier environment for the sleeping or resting infant. The cot bumper has at least one inner core layer of a perforated resilient panel located in a pocket or envelope of mesh material formed by rows of transverse stitching at spaced apart locations. The advantage of the cot bumper is that it provides more or less continuous protection whilst allowing air movement around and through the cot or crib.

  • Patent number: 7033088
Abstract: According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a camera rig suitable for handheld use comprising a frame and means to attach a camera inside of said frame. The present invention therefore provides a mobile support for a camera, such as a digital video camera by providing a larger grip than a small camera and hence it is easier to hold steady. Therefore the user may shoot film in a steady manner. It is thus an advantage of the present invention that camera shake is either prevented or substantially reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050095195
Abstract: A process for preparing crystalline alumino-silicate compositions has been developed. The process involves preparing a charge density mismatch reaction mixture comprising sources of aluminum, silicon, optionally an E metal and at least one charge density mismatch (CDM) template. The CDM template is an organic nitrogen containing template, in the hydroxide form, e.g. tetraethylammonium hydroxide and is characterized in that it is incapable of inducing crystallization. To this mixture there is added a solution comprising a second templating agent termed a crystallization template (CT). The CT can be an organic template different from the CDM template, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal and mixtures thereof.
