  • Patent number: 11801649
Abstract: A forming device, system, and method for continuous forming of a semi-finished fiber product. The semi-finished fiber product is supported flatly from a first side and is at least locally restricted in its freedom of movement, for example pressed on and/or guided, on another side opposite the first side. The further restriction occurs in relation to a guiding area at at least one constant location or region past which the semi-finished fiber product is guided. Shaping tools and guiding areas defined thereby are used for support, and hold-down devices and their contact surfaces are used for further restriction. The further restriction is carried out transversely to a feed motion direction of the semi-finished fiber product through the forming device. The further restriction and the flat guidance serve to reduce formation of undulations and folds.

  • Patent number: 11245198
Abstract: A radar antenna includes parasitic elements for influencing the radiation characteristics of the radar antenna, the radiation characteristics of the radar antenna being dependent upon the spatial position of the parasitic elements relative to the radar antenna and phase positions (?1, ?2, ?3) of energies radiated off the radar antenna and the parasitic elements. The radar antenna is designed using microstrip technology.

    Inventors: Benedikt Schulte, Andre Giere
  • Patent number: 10877146
Abstract: A radar sensor for a vehicle includes a control unit and an antenna array. The radar sensor is configured to perform a three-dimensional scan to determine a vertical and a horizontal position of an object in order to assist with distinguishing the geometrical nature of the object.

  • Patent number: 10538073
Abstract: A method for mending damaged areas in fiber composite components formed from a plurality of unidirectional fiber layers includes the steps of automatically lifting at least one fiber layer of the fiber composite component at a cutting edge of the at least one fiber layer using a delaminating device, removing the at least one fiber layer in the extension direction of the fiber orientation of the at least one fiber layer, and separating off the removed at least one fiber layer in a defined manner at a separating edge defined by a separating device placed on the fiber composite component.

  • Patent number: 9431704
Abstract: An antenna apparatus for a radar sensor having a plurality of individual antenna devices that interact through interference to generate and/or receive a radar beam at a predetermined angle of transmission and/or reception. The individual antenna devices are provided with a radar signal and are arranged such that a first angle of transmission and/or reception of the radar beam is determined via an analog beam formation and a second angle of transmission and/or reception of the radar beam is determined via a digital beam formation. The antenna apparatus further includes a feed device configured to generate the radar signal. In addition, the radar beam can be electronically pivoted. Also, an aircraft can include the antenna apparatus.
