Publication number: 20060261208Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for winding material. The apparatus includes first and second roll carriages that are each configured to support a roll shaft. At least one of the first and second roll carriages is configured to be rotated by a drive member. The apparatus also includes an engagement roller displaceable from a first engagement roller position where the traveling roller is free of a web to a second, different engagement roller position where the traveling roller is configured to engage the periphery of a roll of web material that is at least partially wound about the roll, a traveling roller displaceable from a first traveling roller position to a second traveling roller position and a cutter where the cutter is configured to cut through the web after the first roll carriage moves from a first roll carriage position to a second roll carriage position.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2006Publication date: November 23, 2006Inventors: Bengt Andreasson, Birger Sorensen

Publication number: 20060179614Abstract: The invention concerns an assembly (A) containing a plurality of stacks of strip shaped material, which is fanfolded in the stacks between a leading end (111a, 112a) in a first end of the stacks and a trailing end (121a, 122a) in a second end of the stacks, and arranged to be able to be fed out through unfolding of the material continuously at least until the assembly has been emptied. The assembly contains two such packs (1, 2) each of which contains a plurality of such stacks (101a-d, 102a-d) arranged side by side. The leading ends and the trailing ends of the strip material of the stacks of the two packs are alternately joined to one another, so that a continuous strip is achieved with a leading end (111a) of the assembly in a first stack of one of the packs and a trailing end (122d) in a last stack of the other pack.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2003Publication date: August 17, 2006Inventor: Bengt Andreasson

Patent number: 6779839Abstract: A passenger seat having a seat back with a head restraint, the seat back pivotally attached to a seat cushion or a floor of a vehicle. When the seat back is folded down, the head restraint pivots up to allow the seat back to lay generally horizontal on the seat cushion thereby maximizing storage space without it contacting a front passenger seat.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2002Date of Patent: August 24, 2004Assignee: LEAR CorporationInventors: Bengt Andreasson, Carina Stridsberg, Christer Andersson, Odd Jaegtnes, Lennart Nyström

Patent number: 6578910Abstract: A vehicle seat having a ventilation system includes a network of ducts within the seat bottom, and a fan for moving air away from the seat surface. The ventilation system is configured such that a single fan may selectively move air through some or all of the ducts. Before a vehicle occupant sits in a seat, air is moved through all of the ducts to reduce the temperature at the seat surface. When the occupant sits in the seat, certain ducts in the network are closed to air flow. The air flow is now limited to the remaining ducts, which allows for efficient removal of moisture from the seat surface. After the temperature and moisture at the seat surface have reached desired levels, the speed of the fan is reduced to ensure that the occupant does not experience an unpleasant draught.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2001Date of Patent: June 17, 2003Assignee: Lear CorporationInventors: Christer Andersson, Bengt Andreasson, Harry Eriksson

Patent number: 5485386Abstract: A method and an apparatus provided to calculate and control the elongation in a running web (16), e.g. in connection with a preparation of a web in a printing machine. In connection with at least an increase or decrease in the web tension, the length change in a reference length of the web material is measured, and by means of web tension meters the web tension before and after the web tension change (.sigma..sub.1 -.sigma..sub.2) or each one of the web tension alterations is determined. The tension-free length (n.sub.o) of the reference length is also calculated and if it is needed, the elongation of the web is corrected through an increase or a decrease in the web tension depending on said measurements.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 1993Date of Patent: January 16, 1996Inventor: Bengt Andreasson
