Abstract: A refrigerator is provided with a refrigerating unit in the form of an apparatus having at least one pair of containers, where each pair includes a first and a second container (18 and 20, respectively) communicating with each other through a pipe (22). Each container contains a substance which, when being heated, gives off a gaseous working medium and, when being cooled, absorbs the gaseous working medium. The first container (18) is arranged to be heated from the storage compartment (16) of the refrigerator, which compartment thereby is cooled. The second container (20) is provided with a heater (34). Each container is provided with an arrangement for, when need arises, conducting heat away from the respective container, which arrangement includes a cooling circuit (26, 28, 30, 32 and 36, 38, 30, 32, respectively), in which a pump (26, 36) brings a cooling liquid to cool the respective container. The liquid is cooled in a radiator (32) arranged on the refrigerator.

Abstract: This invention relates to a spirit stove. The spirit stove comprises a top (11) which is provided with at least one hot plate (15) of hear conducting material which is placed so that the plate joins the top. The stove has a spirit burner (33, 36, 37, 38) which is placed below the plate and to which air flows and from which fumes leave by natural ventilation. The plate is surrounded by a heat insulating material (23) having a surface which is exposed to the flames and/or the fumes.

Abstract: Apparatus for burning spirit or similar liquid fuels.A draught or burner tube (16) has a flange (18) defining a gap (32) in relation to a ring spaced below the flange and supported thereby. The container is engaged with the ring from below, an exposed surface of a fuel-absorbing mass (28) being located inside the ring. A gap is open at the periphery of the flange and the ring so that combustion air is drawn to the draught or burner tube through the gap along the exposed surface of the mass together with fuel vapors evaporating therefrom.

Abstract: Compressed air brakes on a vehicle are actuated by an obstacle sensor switch via electromagnetic valves to draw compressed air from both parking and service brake compressed air supplies for operation of the service brakes to avoid depletion of the service brake air supply. Also, the parking brake cylinder may be rapidly emptied from control of the obstacle sensor by means of a rapid empty valve connected to the brake cylinders of the parking brake circuit.
