  • Publication number: 20230396216
Abstract: An example of a receiver circuit is disclosed. The receiver circuit comprises an input for receiving a radio frequency signal, an output for providing an output signal of the receiver circuit, a receive path, wherein the receive path is connected between the input and the output of the receiver circuit, and a feedback path, wherein an input of the feedback path is connected to the output of the receiver circuit. The receiver circuit also comprises a transformer, wherein an output signal of the feedback path is combined with the received radio frequency signal in the receive path to form a first signal. The receive path comprises a first mixer for downconverting the first signal by a local oscillator frequency, and an amplifier for amplifying the downconverted first signal. The feedback path comprises a second mixer for upconverting a signal in the feedback path by said local oscillator frequency.

  • Patent number: 10992132
Abstract: A power control system provides multiple supply voltages that are guaranteed not to violate boundary conditions regardless of the timing of voltage change commands. A first voltage (Vlogic in the embodiments described herein) is controlled conventionally, and a second voltage (Vmemory) is either selected or generated by adding a selected offset to the first voltage. Both the size of the offset, and the absolute value of the second voltage, are constrained at all times, by constraint values specific to the current voltage zone. The invention ensures a smooth transition between different voltage operating points, and ensures that the trajectory of change between specified operating points remains within predefined boundaries.

  • Patent number: 7925030
Abstract: A method and ASIC for canceling crosstalk between a first stereo channel and a second stereo channel, wherein a first signal is input to a first output amplifier for the first channel, and a second signal is input to a second output amplifier for the second channel, and an output load for each output amplifier is connected between each output amplifier and a reference amplifier. In one embodiment, the first and second signals are split prior to inputting the signals to the first and second output amplifiers, and a gain-adjusted portion of each signal is added to the other signal on the inputs of the output amplifiers. In another embodiment, the first and second input signals are again split into two paths each. While a first path of each signal is inputted to each signal's respective output amplifier, the second paths of the first and second signals are adding together. The resulting sum is adjusted by a gain function, biased by a suitable DC voltage, and input to the reference amplifier.

  • Patent number: 6810338
Abstract: There is provided a monitoring device which can be used as a battery monitor in a mobile communications device, such as a mobile phone. The monitoring device includes output registers, from which parameter values can be read by a processor unit. Advantageously, the device makes frequent measurements, and updates parameter values on the basis of those measurements. The updated stored parameter values can then be read by the processor. This has the advantage that the processor does not have to read a large number of values, in order to obtain the information required about the parameters. This therefore has the result that communications on the bus are reduced, and power consumption is reduced. For example, the parameters may include a maximum battery voltage, a minimum battery voltage, and an average battery voltage, as well as parameters relating to the current supplied to the battery during charging.

  • Patent number: 6221493
Abstract: According to the present invention there is now provided a body of cemented carbide or cermets coated with at least one diamond layer. The diamond layer is smooth on all sides of the body with an Ra<1 &mgr;m. According to the present invention there is also provided a method for reactive ion etching of a diamond layer on a complex shape body where the etching is efficient at all sides of the body exposed to the plasma. The etching is made using a C— or oxygen-containing plasma with the possibility of etching of a diamond layer covered by an outer layer of preferably a Si containing material.
