  • Patent number: 4458504
Abstract: This invention relates to an arrangement in an absorption refrigerating apparatus, which operates with a pressure equalizing gas, and is provided with at least two absorbers. A height difference occurs between the liquid level in the standpipe of the boiler and the inlet level of the absorbers in order to supply absorption solution which is weak and refrigerant to the absorbers. At least a major part of the supply conduit is replaced by branch conduits, each one of which has a flow resistance which is at least double the difference between the flow resistances in said branch conduits.

  • Patent number: 4286569
Abstract: An external intake-discharge duct for a burner-operated refrigerator having a sealed system. The intake communicates with the atmosphere outside of a trailer or a motor home and is located in a service door for the burner of a refrigerating apparatus. Atmospheric air is conducted downward through the air intake to the burner, and hot combustion gases are conducted upwards through a flue pipe and out through a discharge or outlet. The duct terminates in a cap-like structure located externally in a wall of a trailer or motor home.

  • Patent number: 4160366
Abstract: An absorption refrigeration apparatus provided with a single pipe boiler system having a pump and a standpipe containing a rectifier, and a boiler, with the latter having heat supplied to it. The arrangement permits one to choose a more favorable reaction ratio of the pump in the apparatus, or the absorber vessel can be placed at a lower level, with one choice resulting in a lower consumption of energy, and the other choice a greater cooling effect.
