  • Patent number: 8970614
Abstract: [Problem] The present invention provides an apparatus and a method, which can reduce required memory, for obtaining blur image in computer graphics. [Method of solution] The present invention performs processing leaving only the calculation results of the necessary column to obtain blur image without full memory of the SAT table. As a result, the present invention provides an apparatus and a method, which can reduce required memory, for obtaining blur image in computer graphics.

  • Publication number: 20140333303
Abstract: In a magnetic resonance apparatus and method for RF excitation with two resonance frequencies to detect the CEST effect, the RF excitation is achieved with the use of a first RF antenna and a second RF antenna of the magnetic resonance apparatus with a first portion of the RF excitation at a first resonance frequency of the two resonance frequencies being implemented with the first RF antenna, and a second portion of the RF excitation at a second resonance frequency of the two resonance frequencies is implemented with the second RF antenna.

  • Publication number: 20140049258
Abstract: A method includes recording a magnetic resonance (MR) spectrum with the aid of a high frequency (HF) coil and a magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) device. A static magnetic field results in a recording volume of the MRT device. The method also includes an automatic analysis of the MR spectrum by searching for two resonant signals in the form of a fat peak, a water peak, and a minimum between the fat peak and the water peak. Such an automatic analysis is used for an automatic decision as a function of a predeterminable criterion, as to whether a series, including a plurality of acts, or a single act is performed. The homogeneity of the static magnetic field is adjusted with the aid of at least one shim coil of the MRT device, and an HF pulse is calculated for fat saturation as a function of the result of the search.

  • Publication number: 20140027369
Abstract: A support grid assembly for use in a vessel. The support grid assembly includes panels each including a first wall including a media-supporting screen and a second wall to be supported by the vessel wall inner surface. A manifold is coupled to the panels and is in hydraulic communication with vessel outlet. The manifold and the panels permit fluid to flow through the screen in each panel, through the panels, into the manifold, and through the manifold to the outlet of the vessel, as well as in the reverse direction. At least a portion of the first wall may slope downward toward the manifold, and at least a portion of the second wall may form a bottom surface that is curved to substantially conform to a curvature of the vessel wall inner surface. The panels may be arranged in a circular configuration extending radially from the manifold.

  • Publication number: 20130307541
Abstract: A method for shimming a magnetic field in a magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) device includes determining a field of view region for an object under examination. Determining the field of view region includes adapting the field of view region automatically to a region of the object under examination to be examined by the MRT device. Before the MRT device records an image, an adjustment measurement of the magnetic field is performed. A field map of the magnetic field of the field of view region is defined based on the adjustment measurement. A shimming of the magnetic field is implemented based on the field map.

  • Publication number: 20090211965
Abstract: Panels of a filter screen have a plurality of rods and a plurality of wires. The rods are arranged parallel to one another in a first direction. The wires are arranged parallel to one another and are attached in a perpendicular direction to the rods. The rods have jointed ends with a tab and a bevel along one edge of the panels and have flush ends along an opposite edge of the panels. The panels are connected together edge to edge in an elongated sheet by adjoining the jointed and the flush ends of the rods and then welding a plurality of splice bars alternatingly between adjacent ones of the rods at the joints. The elongated sheet is then rolled into a cylindrical tier that can be used as a portion of a basket, centerpipe or other cylindrical screen for a radial flow process or the like.
