  • Patent number: 11654385
Abstract: Referring to the figures generally, a rotating filter cartridge includes a first endcap, a second endcap, and a filter media. The filter media is positioned between the first endcap and the second endcap. The filter media creates a mechanical seal between at least one of the first endcap or the second endcap during rotation of the rotating filter cartridge without the use of a potting material. In at least one embodiment, the rotating filter cartridge further includes a body secured to the first endcap and the second endcap. At least one of the first endcap or the second endcap, and the body, may form a pocket that radially pinches the filter media to form the mechanical seal.

  • Patent number: 11646897
Abstract: A coordinating network element manages a protocol that makes attestations of off-platform-resolved data and decisions available for use on a blockchain platform or on another decentralized-execution-based platform operational within a multi-tenant environment. By one approach, these teachings provide for off-platform-verified data pertaining to individual-, group- or machine-based users to be blinded from access by the coordinating network element and by the platform while utilizing a tokenized form of such data to enable user-initiated queries that involve solely on-platform vetting of users as a condition of fulfilling user requests for service.

  • Patent number: 11637817
Abstract: A coordinating network element manages a protocol that prohibits the coordinating network element from substantively accessing data content that, at least in part, underlies received protocol-compliant requests. By one approach, these teachings provide for preventing substantive access to data information that is included within the protocol-compliant request in tokenized form, wherein the tokens are generated using secrets, at least one of which is unavailable to the coordinating network element.

  • Publication number: 20230075354
Abstract: A protocol that is managed by a coordinating network element or third-party intermediary or peer network elements and utilizes tokens prohibits any subset of a union of the coordinating network element or third-party intermediary, if any, and a proper subset of the processors involved in token generation from substantively accessing underlying data. By one approach, processors utilize uniquely-held secrets. By one approach, an audit capability involves a plurality of processors. By one approach, the protocol enables data transference and/or corroboration. By one approach, transferred data is hosted independently of the coordinating network element. By one approach, the coordinating network element or third-party intermediary or a second requesting network element is at least partially blinded from access to tokens submitted by a first requesting network element. By one approach, a third-party intermediary uses a single- or consortium-sourced database.

  • Publication number: 20230037860
Abstract: Equalization circuitry for a data channel in an integrated circuit device includes an analog equalization stage coupled to the data channel, and a digital signal processing stage downstream of the analog equalization stage. The digital signal processing stage generates control signals to control the analog equalization stage, and includes a digital equalization stage that operates on output of the analog equalization stage. The analog equalization stage may further include an enhanced processing stage for optical signals, which may be selectably coupled to the analog equalization stage. The analog equalization stage may include at least one feed-forward or feedback equalization stage, and a decision stage that outputs decision signals at one of a first plurality of signal levels. The enhanced processing stage operates on the decision signals to output enhanced decision signals at one of a second plurality of signal levels of higher resolution than the first plurality of signal levels.

  • Publication number: 20220303154
Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can present accessory state information. For example, the computing device can receive accessory state information from various accessories and present status items representing the current state of the accessories. The status items can be prioritized according to classifications assigned to accessories and/or accessory state information. The status items can be filtered based on a role assigned to the user of the computing device. Additional implementations and details are described in the paragraphs that follow.
