  • Publication number: 20220387961
Abstract: A method for chemical production includes applying electromagnetic heating to a composition that includes a catalytic component and an electromagnetic susceptor. Responsive to application of radio frequency energy, the electromagnetic susceptor causes the catalytic component to become heated. The heated electromagnetic susceptor and catalytic component interact with a chemical to form a product.

  • Publication number: 20160114294
Abstract: A method includes coating a substrate to provide a separation substrate. In an embodiment, the method includes exposing the substrate to a cationic solution to produce a cationic layer deposited on the substrate. The cationic solution comprises cationic materials. The cationic materials comprise a polymer, a colloidal particle, a nanoparticle, a nitrogen-rich molecule, or any combinations thereof. The method further includes exposing the cationic layer to an anionic solution to produce an anionic layer deposited on the cationic layer to produce a layer comprising the anionic layer and the cationic layer. The anionic solution comprises a layerable material.

  • Patent number: 8298499
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for a chemical reactor which includes elongate chambers defining an arrangement and including first, second, and third elongate chambers adapted to support respective distinct first, second, and third reactor functions associated with respective first, second, and third process feeds, and a distributor arranged in fluidic communication with each of the elongate chambers and for connecting the elongate chambers to at least one fluid source. The distributor is dimensioned to produce a two-dimensional radial distribution of fluidic flow through the first, second, and third elongate chambers with respect to the first, second, and third process feeds. The chemical reactor may further include a monolith catalyst support including an N×M array of channels including the elongated chambers.
